Laflly, when Chrift had Divorced this People, Aboli/h ed their Mofaical Conflitution, by breaking their Stapf of Beauty and their Stafl of Bonds, he ereéis his Gojpel Church, calls in sciples by his Mini/try, forms them into a Body, ficrni/heth them with Ofiicers and Ordinances; and after he had fifired, refe again, and continued here Forty days; in which time he frequently appeared to them, and acquaint ed them with his Will, afcends unto his Father, fends his Spirit in a plentiful manner at Pentecofi, whereby mofi of them were furni/hed with all neceflary miraculous Gifts, to the promoting the Glory and Interefl of Chrzfi among Jews and Gentiles.'
