It is now too late for me to remedy their omission, and I can only hope that my successor may feel inclined to include these con tributions in his pages, if the writers should allow their transfer. No one can doubt the value of Mr. Vincent's laborious Calen darium Genealogicum, and I feel sure that many will be glad to have further papers similar to those on the Scutage and Marshal's Rolls, and the early Chancery Proceedings.
