Book Description
Its so amazing how God guides you to where He wants you to be. This book began by writing in my journal daily to release the stresses of every day life. This is a blessing to share the written words of inspiration with others. Your silence is golden; it consists of spending time with self. Expressing yourself from within is the best therapy no money can buy. The poems are based on real life and learning how to live with the trials and triumphs of life. The title of this book, My Silence is Golden, describes my quiet nature and how I consume life. Learning to enjoy life, being grateful of what each day brings. Remember that, as we live day by day, we tend to think everything we accomplished is our doing. God reminds us, He is in charge. Yes we are blessed to be able to turn up and down the volume of life. God intervenes to comfort and guide us. As you read the pages of this book, the poems are from the heart. Each poem signifies how the simple things are the most precious things. I hope this book inspires you to endure what life has in store for you.

Book Description
Every day, there are treasures to be discovered by anyone who will honestly come to hear the voice of the Savior in his Word. The Lord Jesus indicates that there is an added blessing for those who will write down the insights he gives by his instruction: ?Every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old? (Matthew 13:52). The poems in this book are the result of going to the Bible each day with an expectation that God has something very valuable to say. That expectation has NEVER been disappointed. Our risen Lord said, ?I stand at the door and knock. If any man hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and will sup with him, and he with Me? (Revelation 3:20). This intimate, two-way communion with God is offered to all those who have received the Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:12) and thereby ?have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God? (1 Corinthians 2:12). My prayer is that God may use this book for his glory, for the encouragement of his own children, and for the persuasion of those who may yet be awakened to their need of our Savior. ?Blessed is the man that heareth Me, watching daily at My gates, waiting at the post of My doors? (Proverbs 8:34). Heaven is waiting. Don't miss it for the world.

Book Description
This groundbreaking study offers an innovative critical analysis of poetry as a resource for reflective practice in the context of continuing professional development. In the contemporary drive in all professions for greater rigour in education, training, and development, little attention is paid to the inner shape of learning and meaning-making for individuals and groups, especially ways in which individuals are formed for the task of their work. Building on empirical research into the author’s professional practice, the book takes the use of poetry in clergy continuing ministerial development as a case-study to examine the value of poetry in professional learning. Setting out the advantages and limitations of poetry as a stimulant for imaginative, critical reflexivity, and formation within professional reflective practice, the study develops a practical model for group reflection around poetry, distilling pedagogical approaches for working effectively with poetry in continuing professional development. Drawing together a number of strands of thinking about poetry, Practical Theology, and reflective practice into a tightly argued study, the book is an important methodological resource. It makes available a range of primary and secondary sources, offering researchers into professional practice a model of ethnographic research in Practical Theology which embraces innovative methods for reflexivity and theological reflection, including the value of auto-ethnographic poetry.

Book Description
Purpose in Silence is a collection of poetry and devotional writings of two young men who are nonverbal, yet have a voice through their writings. Motor impairment and clubfeet have caused much frustration and pain in their young lives, but through these experiences, the Lord has given them a deep understanding of his purpose for them and an ability to encourage others passing through trials. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is where their strength is found, and it is the basis for much of their poetry. It is their heartfelt desire that their writings will bring honor to their Savior and a blessing to all those who read their words.
