Objectif de l'étude : L'étude proposait de décrire les représentations, le vécu de l'accouchement et l'accueil du nouveau-né dans une population de primipares. L'objectif secondaire était de les analyser en fonction du niveau d'anxiété maternelle. Matériel et méthodes : Étude qualitative, prospective, descriptive, menée auprès de 12 patientes sur la base de l'analyse thématique de deux entretiens par personne réalisés en pré-et en post-natal, en parallèle d'un recueil de données et de questionnaires. Résultats : L'étude a révélé un faible niveau d'anxiété dans l'échantillon. Les femmes avaient des représentations de l'accouchement semblables au déroulement de celui-ci et aux soins prodigués en salles de naissances. Elles avaient des peurs principalement liées à la douleur. La présence du père était perçue comme importante. Le vécu de l'accouchement a été décrit conformément aux représentations que les femmes en avaient. La gestion de la douleur semblait être une des difficultés majeures dans leur vécu. La présence du père a été réaffirmée et fortement plébiscitée. L'accueil du nouveau-né a été décrit en termes d'émotions avec un certain décalage par rapport à ce qui en était attendu initialement. Conclusion : La gestion de la douleur semble primordiale pour un bon vécu de l'accouchement. La PNP présente un intérêt tout particulier dans l'apport d'informations sur ces thèmes et dans la réassurance des femmes enceintes.

Ethics and Aesthetics of Translation engages with translation, in both theory and practice, as part of an interrogation of ethical as well as political thought in the work of three bilingual European authors: Bernardo Atxaga, Milan Kundera and Jorge Semprún. In approaching the work of these authors, the book draws upon the approaches to translation offered by Benjamin, Derrida, Ricœur and Deleuze to highlight a broad set of ethical questions, focused upon the limitations of the monolingual and the democratic possibilities of linguistic plurality; upon our innate desire to translate difference into similarity; and upon the ways in which translation responds to the challenges of individual and collective remembrance.
