In addition, each author of these biographies is a direct descendant of the patriot and in some cases provides a summary of lineage to assist in reference for furthering genealogy research. This book provides a unique look into the history of both rank-and-file soldiers, as well as officers and other patriots, and includes references to unique family oral histories and primary sources.
