Remember this also, God has not forgotten you, hold your head up high and be true to Him and Hell open doors to your heart. We are human beings and there is such a thing as trying with Gods help always whether its right or wrong. He wont let you fall any further then your bending your knees to pray, my child. Book Description
One Sunday morning four women at a bridge party in the elegant Gramercy Park Hotel see a beautiful young woman whom they all know leaving a nearby hotel with a man who is not her husband. The sight of twenty-year-old Lizzie Carswell with Billy Holmes is shocking and potentially ruinous. And though the ladies do not know the whole story -- and despite their mutual promise to keep what they've seen to themselves -- it is only a matter of time before one of them talks . . . with heartbreaking consequences for them all. In One Sunday Morning, author Amy Ephron brilliantly navigates the social contradictions of Jazz Age New York society and brings a remarkable time and place to glorious life with a riveting drama of gossip, indiscretion, secrets, and betrayal.

Book Description
The introduction of Christianity into traditional societies has been the subject of numerous studies. Few of these studies, however, have adequately examined the way that this introduction affects power relationships in a community. In this, the third volume in the American Society of Missiology's dissertation series, A. Sue Russell attempts to advance the discourse on Christianity and social change by showing how a new social institution, the local church, both influences and is influenced by existing sociocultural power relationships. Building on her extensive research into the Tagal Murut, Dr. Russell clearly demonstrates that the introduction of Christianity created a dynamic that produced new social relations and power structures in Tagal society. With its unique insights into this crucial dynamic, Conversion, Identity, and Power stands as an important contribution to the sociological and missiological literature exploring the impact of Christianity on traditional societies. Book Description
This book will inspire you as you take a journey with Nancy through her many divine appointments with God. The Holy Spirit teaches her (over a period of fifty-three years) to cooperate with and to follow His leadings. As Nancy is being natural, submitting herself to the Holy Spirit, God performs the supernatural when she listens to Him, releases all to Him, and cooperates with His directions and instructions. The Lord told her in 1977 that divine appointments were for the power and creativity of God working in and through the spirit-baptized life for His purposes. On Nancy’s journey, you will hear about many miracles manifested in and through her life for the benefit of others.

Book Description
The story of two common people married to each other and committed to their God. Billy Ray Rigsby, born to share croppers in the hills of North Alabama, and Emma Jean Woodall, a typical teenager in the nineteen fifties. Converted at age nine, Billy developed a deep love for God. At the age of thirteen, he surrendered his life to the call of God and ministry. After high school graduation, he entered Tennessee Temple College and, from there, a tour of duty with the United States Air Force. While stationed in Orlando, Florida, he met his lifelong companion. Attending church one Sunday morning, Jean was captivated by a young serviceman in a blue uniform. Later they were married in the same church. Fifty-two years of joy, sorrow, laughter, and tears are revealed in the tale of two ordinary people with a love for God and each other. Everything that happens to you is for your own good. If the waves roll against you, it only speeds your ship toward the port. If lightning and thunder comes, it clears the atmosphere and promotes your souls health. You gain by loss, you grow healthy in sickness, you live by dying, and you are made rich in losses. Could you ask for a better promise? It is better that all things should work for my good than all things should be as I would wish to have them. All things might work for my pleasure and yet might all work my ruin. If all things do not always please me, they will always benefit me. Charles Haddon Spurgeon

Book Description
The story of Ireland—its graces and shortcomings, triumphs and sorrows—is told by ballads, dirges, and humorous songs of its common people. Music is a direct and powerful expression of Irish folk culture and an aspect of Irish life beloved throughout the rest of the world. Incredibly, the largest single gathering of Irish folk songs had been almost inaccessible because, originally newspaper based, it was available in only three libraries, in Belfast, Dublin, and Washington D.C. Sam Henry's “Songs of the People” makes the music available to a wider audience than the collector ever imagined. Comprising nearly 690 selections, this thoroughly annotated and indexed collection is a treasure for anyone who performs, composes, studies, collects, or simply enjoys folk music. It is valuable as an outstanding record of Irish folk songs before World War II, demonstrating the historical ties between Irish and Southern folk culture and the tremendous Irish influence on American folk music. In addition to the songs themselves and their original commentary, Sam Henry's “Songs of the People” includes a glossary, bibliography, discography, index of titles and first lines, melodic index, index of the original sources of the songs and information about them, geographical index of sources, and three appendixes related to the original song series in the Northern Constitution.
