The Rev. Joe Gerald, who was scheduled for the morn ing devotions, made a Scriptural presentation from John and led in prayers Introduction of the Speaker was made by the Rev. Walter Reynolds, who presented the Rev. C. L. Patrick, pastor Of the Free Union Free Will Baptist Church in Greene County, to bring the introductory sermon. The Speaker's message, based on Ephesians was entitled, Be Filled with the Spirit. The Convention was ably challenged to a closer walk with God as a result Of being filled with the Holy Spirit. Following the hymn, Oh, How I Love Jesus, the Rev. C. L. Patrick led in the benediction. The Convention recessed for lunch.
