Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) is a tomographic imaging modality performed during coronary angiography that allows the simultaneous assessment of lumen, vessel wall, and atherosclerotic plaque. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Ultrasound has recently taken an explosive growth for better safer, economic, mobile and high quality healthcare.
