Introduction : Le manque d'information des médecins régulateurs du SAMU concernant les patients en soins palliatifs appelants, conduit à des hospitalisations non souhaitées et des thérapeutiques inadaptées. L'objectif principal est de décrire l'intérêt pour les médecins généralistes et les médecins régulateurs du SAMU de mettre en place une fiche URGENCE-PALLIA à la Réunion, pour les patients relevant de soins palliatifs à domicile. Méthode : une étude descriptive a été menée en 2017 auprès des médecins généralistes libéraux et des médecins régulateurs de la Réunion. Résultats : 104 médecins généralistes et 60 médecins régulateurs ont participé à l'étude. 93 % des médecins généralistes interrogés voient un intérêt à la fiche URGENCE-PALLIA dans leur pratique médicale pour respecter les souhaits des patients, pour amorcer une discussion sur la fin de vie et pour anticiper les complications de la maladie des patients en soins palliatifs. 93 % des médecins régulateurs de l'échantillon ont répondu que cet outil les aiderait pour réguler les appels des patients en soins palliatifs en permettant d'éviter des interventions SMUR, des hospitalisations, des thérapeutiques invasives et en respectant les souhaits du patient. Discussion : L'évaluation auprès des médecins interrogés fait ressortir un intérêt pour la fiche URGENCE-PALLIA pour améliorer la prise en charge des urgences chez les patients en soins palliatifs au domicile.
