Book Description
Chris was there and witnessed my transformation into a much more dynamic person than I had ever been in my entire life. After experiencing this transformation, seeing me in such a good mood all the time, and noticing how focused I was, Chris asked me if he could read my fathers book. I told him I didnt think hed be very interested in it and that there was more to it than just reading the book. I explained a little bit about it and was greatly surprised that he still wanted to read it. Truthfully, I didnt take him seriously at all. I figured he would skim through the book and more than likely hed hand it back to me the same day and tell me he was good on that. After just one month Chris was not Chris anymore, at least not the same person I had come to know for the past four years. He had completely transformed into a very new and improved Chris right before my very eyes; much like I must have done as he watched my transformation. He was much more mature, in touch with his spirituality, and most noticeably, he was thinking and acting instead of feeling and reacting. That was about seven months ago and to see Chris get angry now is a very rare occurrence. Now even when something happens that rubs him the wrong way its no big deal because hes able to react calmly and think things through. Chris sees the bigger picture now and realizes what is really important isnt behind these prison walls. He now realizes that whats most important is whats happening out there with our families and loved ones in the free world. Now we both understand and immensely appreciate the fact that The Key to Stay Free empowers us and gives our lives more meaning than weve ever had before. Now we are confident that we can create a life worth living once we are released from prison. Now we without doubt know we will no longer be sacrificial pawns and that we can and will be kings in the game of life.

Book Description
Join the political and cultural fight for America's freedom—and learn how to protect our nation from the leftist agenda—with this essential guide from Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Pete Hegseth. In American Crusade, Pete Hegseth explores whether the election of President Donald J. Trump was sign of a national rebirth, or instead the final act of a nation that has surrendered to Leftists who demand socialism, globalism, secularism, and politically-correct elitism. Can real America still win? And how? Hegseth is an old-school patriot who is on a mission to do his part to save our Republic. This book celebrates all that America stands for, while motivating and mustering fellow patriots to stand ready to defend—and save—our great country. As he travels around the country talking to American citizens from all walks of life, Hegseth reveals the common wisdom of average Americans—and how ready they are to join the cultural battlefield. Now is that time, and Hegseth has written the playbook. American Crusade is written with the same insight, politically incorrect candor, and humor that has made his television show one of the most highly-rated in America.

Book Description
How far does the idea of academic freedom extend to professors in an era of racial reckoning? The protests of summer 2020, which were ignited by the murder of George Floyd, led to long-overdue reassessments of the legacy of racism and white supremacy in both American academe and cultural life more generally. But while universities have been willing to rename some buildings and schools or grapple with their role in the slave trade, no one has yet asked the most uncomfortable question: Does academic freedom extend to racist professors? It's Not Free Speech considers the ideal of academic freedom in the wake of the activism inspired by outrageous police brutality, white supremacy, and the #MeToo movement. Arguing that academic freedom must be rigorously distinguished from freedom of speech, Michael Bérubé and Jennifer Ruth take aim at explicit defenses of colonialism and theories of white supremacy—theories that have no intellectual legitimacy whatsoever. Approaching this question from two angles—one, the question of when a professor's intramural or extramural speech calls into question his or her fitness to serve, and two, the question of how to manage the simmering tension between the academic freedom of faculty and the antidiscrimination initiatives of campus offices of diversity, equity, and inclusion—they argue that the democracy-destroying potential of social media makes it very difficult to uphold the traditional liberal view that the best remedy for hate speech is more speech. In recent years, those with traditional liberal ideals have had very limited effectiveness in responding to the resurgence of white supremacism in American life. It is time, Bérubé and Ruth write, to ask whether that resurgence requires us to rethink the parameters and practices of academic freedom. Touching as well on contingent faculty, whose speech is often inadequately protected, It's Not Free Speech insists that we reimagine shared governance to augment both academic freedom and antidiscrimination initiatives on campuses. Faculty across the nation can develop protocols that account for both the new realities—from the rise of social media to the decline of tenure—and the old realities of long-standing inequities and abuses that the classic liberal conception of academic freedom did nothing to address. This book will resonate for anyone who has followed debates over #MeToo, Black Lives Matter, Critical Race Theory, and "cancel culture"; more specifically, it should have a major impact on many facets of academic life, from the classroom to faculty senates to the office of the general counsel.

Book Description
Don't let the past hold you back Every Christian has a past. It can hold us back big-time. Those of us carrying a lot of 'stuff' know that only too well. But even those who have had a relatively trouble-free existence thus far will benefit from understanding how to identify and resolve past sin and negative influences that stop us moving on. The great news is that Jesus came specifically to resolve past issues. He does not offer to change our past but He does allow us to walk completely free of it (no matter what it is) as we play our part.
