Ce mémoire expérimental est consacré à l'évaluation de la compréhension écrite d'énoncés complexes dans une tâche d'acting out. Il participe, d'une contribution tripartite, à l'élaboration d'un test auprès de collégiens âgés de 11 à 13 ans (voire en complément Greverie, 2001 ; Falourd, 2001). Le corpus du test est composé d'énoncés complexes contenant des passives, des causales, des concessives, 1 ou 2 relatives, des quantificateurs de l'inclusion "tous" et "quelques", des syllogismes et des comparatives. Ce corpus a été testé auprès d'un échantillon de 33 collégiens. La tâche d'acting out consiste à demander à l'enfant de mettre en scène, avec des jouets, l'évènement relaté dans chaque énoncé qu'il a lu à haute voix. L'enfant traduit ainsi par le mime, les relations fonctionnelles qu'il décèle dans la phrase. Notre test a été plutôt bien réussi dans l'ensemble par notre population de sujets sains, sauf les énoncés concernant les relations de parties-out. La méthode d'acting out s'est révélée être adaptée pour évaluer la compréhension écrite des relatives, des causales, des concessives, des passives et des comparatives mais n'est pas adaptée pour l'évaluation de la compréhension des syllogismes.
