Las empresas de seguridad ?nicamente podr?n prestar o desarrollar los siguientes servicios y actividades: a) Vigilancia y protecci?n de bienes, establecimientos, espect?culos, cert?menes o convenciones. b) Protecci?n de personas determinadas, previa la autorizaci?n correspondiente. c) Dep?sito, custodia, recuento y clasificaci?n de monedas y billetes, t?tulos-valores y dem?s objetos que, por su valor econ?mico y expectativas que generen o por su peligrosidad, puedan requerir protecci?n especial, sin perjuicio de las actividades propias de las entidades financieras. d) Transporte y distribuci?n de los objetos a que se refiere el apartado anterior, a trav?s de los distintos medios, realiz?ndolos, en su caso, mediante veh?culos cuyas caracter?sticas ser?n determinadas por el Ministerio de Justicia e Interior, de forma que no puedan confundirse con los de las Fuerzas Armadas ni con los de las Fuerzas y Cuerpos de Seguridad. e) Instalaci?n y mantenimiento de aparatos, dispositivos y sistemas de seguridad conectados a centrales de alarma. f) Explotaci?n de centrales para la recepci?n, verificaci?n y transmisi?n de las se?ales de alarmas y su comunicaci?n a las Fuerzas y Cuerpos de Seguridad, as? como prestaci?n de servicios de respuesta cuya realizaci?n no sea de la competencia de dichas Fuerzas y Cuerpos. g) Planificaci?n y asesoramiento de las actividades de seguridad (art?culo 5.1 de la Ley de Seguridad Privada). 2. Dentro de lo dispuesto en los p?rrafos c) y d) del apartado anterior, se comprenden la custodia, los transportes y la distribuci?n de explosivos, sin perjuicio de las actividades propias de las empresas fabricantes, comercializadoras y consumidoras de dichos productos. 3. Las empresas de seguridad no podr?n dedicarse a la fabricaci?n de material de seguridad, salvo para su propia utilizaci?n, explotaci?n y consumo, ni a la comercializaci?n de dicho material. Y las empresas dedicadas a estas actividades no podr?n usar, como denominaci?n o calificativo de su naturaleza, la expresi?n «Empresa de Seguridad». 4. Son de car?cter privado las empresas, el personal y los servicios de seguridad objeto del presente Reglamento, cuyas actividades tienen la consideraci?n legal de actividades complementarias y subordinadas respecto a las de seguridad p?blica.
