Book Description
THE GENERAL PURPOSE OF THIS BOOK The general purpose of this book is to build the minds of all Little Gods, who were created by God, who also created the universe. About 4.4 million years ago, Little Gods appeared on planet earth. Today, billions of Little Gods exist and have developed their minds after they found that God and the universe have no end. However, the minds of all Little Gods did not develop until counting tokens appeared about 9,000 years ago. Then, 5000 years later, the Little Gods added symbols to these tokens. These symbols were used in early texts and later in national languages, religious scriptures, scientific books, newspapers, etc. For the last 4000 years, many religious leaders were saying that the symbols in scriptures are sacred and are inspired by God. In 2006, I found that God is infinite and unlimited. Six years later, I found that symbols are finite and limited. These findings prove that scriptures cannot be sacred. I confirmed these findings with new research on Greek writings and the teachings of Jesus in the New Testament. In time, I expect all Little Gods to worship the same God. The purpose of my book is thus to bring all Little Gods together under one God.

God And His Coexistent Relations To The Universe:
Author: George D. Shollenberger
Publisher: Author House
ISBN: 1491855320
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 449
Book Description
The author says that the social contract theory of John Locke, the immortal souls of humans, and doubts of the divinity of Jesus (by Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and John Adams) caused the separation of the U.S. colonists from England on July 4, 1776. However, the author says that the USA has lost its God and has no facts about the universe in which we live. He also says that Locke's social contract theory and the immortal souls of humans were never installed by Congress. And he says that the doubts of the divinity of Jesus were never verified. In his new book, the author opens his widely respected mind to find answers to the above unknowns. In his studies of the immortal souls, the author concludes that all nations must become equal so that the immortal souls of every Little God can be reborn naturally by God. His study provides answers of all doubts about the divinity of Jesus and says that only one active God exists and governs the immortal souls and the universe forever. In time, only one religion will exist.

The God Who Is There
Author: D. A. Carson
Publisher: Baker Books
ISBN: 1441213856
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 240
Book Description
It can no longer be assumed that most people--or even most Christians--have a basic understanding of the Bible. Many don't know the difference between the Old and New Testament, and even the more well-known biblical figures are often misunderstood. It is getting harder to talk about Jesus accurately and compellingly because listeners have no proper context with which to understand God's story of redemption. In this basic introduction to faith, D. A. Carson takes seekers, new Christians, and small groups through the big story of Scripture. He helps readers to know what they believe and why they believe it. The companion leader's guide helps evangelistic study groups, small groups, and Sunday school classes make the best use of this book in group settings.

Darwin Devolves
Author: Michael J. Behe
Publisher: HarperCollins
ISBN: 0062842684
Category : Science
Languages : en
Pages : 396
Book Description
The scientist who has been dubbed the “Father of Intelligent Design” and author of the groundbreaking book Darwin’s Black Box contends that recent scientific discoveries further disprove Darwinism and strengthen the case for an intelligent creator. In his controversial bestseller Darwin’s Black Box, biochemist Michael Behe challenged Darwin’s theory of evolution, arguing that science itself has proven that intelligent design is a better explanation for the origin of life. In Darwin Devolves, Behe advances his argument, presenting new research that offers a startling reconsideration of how Darwin’s mechanism works, weakening the theory’s validity even more. A system of natural selection acting on random mutation, evolution can help make something look and act differently. But evolution never creates something organically. Behe contends that Darwinism actually works by a process of devolution—damaging cells in DNA in order to create something new at the lowest biological levels. This is important, he makes clear, because it shows the Darwinian process cannot explain the creation of life itself. “A process that so easily tears down sophisticated machinery is not one which will build complex, functional systems,” he writes. In addition to disputing the methodology of Darwinism and how it conflicts with the concept of creation, Behe reveals that what makes Intelligent Design unique—and right—is that it acknowledges causation. Evolution proposes that organisms living today are descended with modification from organisms that lived in the distant past. But Intelligent Design goes a step further asking, what caused such astounding changes to take place? What is the reason or mechanism for evolution? For Behe, this is what makes Intelligent Design so important.

Four Views on Creation, Evolution, and Intelligent Design
Author: Zondervan,
Publisher: Zondervan Academic
ISBN: 0310080983
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 240
Book Description
Evolution--or the broader topic of origins--has enormous relevance to how we understand the Christian faith and how we interpret Scripture. Four Views on Creation, Evolution, and Intelligent Design presents the current "state of the conversation" about origins among evangelicals representing four key positions: Young Earth Creationism - Ken Ham (Answers in Genesis) Old Earth (Progressive) Creationism - Hugh Ross (Reasons to Believe) Evolutionary Creation - Deborah B. Haarsma (BioLogos) Intelligent Design - Stephen C. Meyer (The Discovery Institute) The contributors offer their best defense of their position addressing questions such as: What is your position on origins - understood broadly to include the physical universe, life, and human beings in particular? What do you take to be the most persuasive arguments in defense of your position? How do you demarcate and correlate evidence about origins from current science and from divine revelation? What hinges on answering these questions correctly? This book allows each contributor to not only present the case for his or her view, but also to critique and respond to the critiques of the other contributors, allowing you to compare their beliefs in an open forum setting to see where they overlap and where they differ.

God and His Coexistent Relations to the Universe:
Author: George D. Shollenberger
Publisher: AuthorHouse
ISBN: 1491855304
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 447
Book Description
In the book, God and His Coexistent Relations to the Universe, the author is rejecting the universe that Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein have accepted for a long period. To replace this old universe, an improved universe appeared from the thoughts of Confucius, Anaxagoras, Plato, and Jesus, who taught the death of our sun in Ch. 24 of Matthew. Unfortunately, this teaching by Jesus was quieted for fifteen centuries by Irenaeus, until Copernicus stood up and said that earth is not the center of the universe. So, an improved universe was becoming very interesting to many scientists.. This improved universe of Copernicus would expand when Kepler found that our sun has a system of eight precise planets. Slowly, the improved universe would become very clear when Leibniz found the immortal human souls and when Galileo found the bodies are made by these immortal souls. In 1766, Ben Franklin went to Germany in order to learn the immortal souls of Leibniz. In the next ten years, Americans would separate America from England, which still accepts the old universe. After this separation, more discoveries would come to the USA from German and Chinese thoughts. For example, Riemann would tell the world that the relationships of bodies in the universe can be determined only by our senses and measurements. With Riemanns statement, the author concluded that God is always active. The author also found that God and the bodies in the universe come together with co-existent concepts. With these advances, the author rejects the old universe and says that the people of many nations will form a new religion under an active God.

Evolutionary Creation
Author: Denis O. Lamoureux
Publisher: Wipf and Stock Publishers
ISBN: 1725244284
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 514
Book Description
In this provocative book, evolutionist and evangelical Christian Denis O. Lamoureux proposes an approach to origins that moves beyond the "evolution-versus-creation" debate. Arguing for an intimate relationship between the Book of God's Words and the Book of God's Works, he presents evolutionary creation--a position that asserts that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit created the universe and life through an ordained and sustained evolutionary process. This view of origins affirms intelligent design and the belief that beauty, complexity, and functionality in nature reflect the mind of God. Lamoureux also challenges the popular Christian assumption that the Holy Spirit revealed scientific and historical facts in the opening chapters of the Bible. He contends that Scripture features an ancient understanding of origins that functions as a vessel to deliver inerrant and infallible messages of faith. Lamoureux shares his personal story and his struggle in coming to terms with evolution and Christianity. Like many, he lost his boyhood faith at university in classes on evolutionary biology. After graduation, he experienced a born-again conversion and then embraced belief in a literal six-day creation. Graduate school training at the doctoral level in both theology and biology led him to the conclusion that God created the world through evolution. Lamoureux closes with the two most important issues in the origins controversy--the pastoral and pedagogical implications. How should churches approach this volatile topic? And what should Christians teach their children about origins?

Perspectives on an Evolving Creation
Author: Keith B. Miller

ISBN: 9780802805126
Category : Religion

Pages : 550
Book Description
According to the authors of this book, who explore evolutionary theory from a clear Christian perspective, the common view of conflict between evolutionary theory and Christian faith is mistaken. Written by contributors representing the natural sciences, philosophy, theology, and the history of science, this thought-provoking work is informed by both solid scientific knowledge and keen theological insight. The three sections of the book address (1) relevant biblical, historical, and scientific background, (2) the scientific evidence for an evolving creation, and (3) theological issues commonly raised in connection with evolution, including the nature of God's creative activity, the meaning of the miraculous, and the uniqueness of humankind. Woven through the volume are short meditations designed to direct readers toward worshiping the God of providence. Contributors: Laurie J. Braaten Warren S. Created and Creating
Author: William Edgar
Publisher: SPCK
ISBN: 1783595493
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 313
Book Description
The gospel of Jesus Christ is always situated within a particular cultural context: but how should Christians approach the complex relationship between their faith and the surrounding culture? Should we simply retreat from culture? Should we embrace our cultural practices and mindset? How important is it for us to be engaged with our culture and mindset? How might we do that with discernment and faithfulness? William Edgar offers a biblical theology in the light of our contemporary culture that contends that Christians should -- and indeed, must -- engage with the surrounding culture. By exploring what Scripture has to say about the role of culture and gleaning insights from a variety of theologians -- including Abraham Kuyper, T. S. Eliot, H. Richard Niebuhr and C. S. Lewis -- Edgar contends that cultural engagement is a fundamental aspect of human existence. He does not shy away from those passages that emphasize the distinction between Christians and the world. Yet he finds, shining through the biblical witness, evidence that supports a robust defence of the cultural mandate to 'be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it' (Genesis 1:28). With clarity and wisdom, Edgar argues that we are most faithful to our calling as God's creatures when we participate in creating culture. Introduction Part 1: Parameters of culture Part 2: Challenges from Scripture Part 3: The cultural mandate Epilogue
