Valued as all these treatises are, and conclusive as we hold them to be, on the subject under consideration, yet such outside testimony as this pamphlet, from the pen of a Minister of the Established Church of England, all of whose proclivities and preconceived Opinions must have inclined him to a different conclusion, is especially valuable; sup ported as It is by critical examinations of the original text of Holy Scripture and the collation of various passages therefrom, bearing on the subject under consideration.
