To all the interests committed to their care during the year, the Board have designed to be practically faithful, according to the requirements of the statutes of the Commonwealth. In the discussion of important subjects, in the arrangement and division of labor, they have appropriated time, and the results of much critical observation for the attainment of larger benefits than have previously been realized in the preparation of mind for the responsible positions it is to occupy in the service of the State. The assurance they have from many sources, that they have wisely and judiciously deliberated, is their abundant reward. Normal Schools.
