Every basic revelation in the Bible has two aspects: the objective aspect and the subjective aspect. Both aspects are needed for the building up of the Body of Christ, which fulfills God’s eternal purpose. Seeing the truths in the Scriptures only in the objective aspect is not sufficient. For many centuries God’s enemy, Satan, has worked in a subtle way to blind God’s people from seeing the truth in its subjective aspect. This is because he realizes that once the believers enter into the subjective aspect of the truth, the Body of Christ will be produced and God’s purpose will be fulfilled. “I am burdened to show all the Lord’s children…the solid revelation concerning the subjective truths in the Bible so that whenever they hear any speaking that opposes the genuine subjective experiences in life and encourages them to care only for doctrine, they will have a solid foundation on which to stand against such speaking.”

The first line--The History of the Lord's Recovery--contains chapters 16 and 17, completing the messages from The Vital Groups, which are in volume 5 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994–1997. These chapters speak of how to contact people. The section then continues with chapters 1 and 2 of a new book, Guidelines for the Propagation of the Lord's Recovery, which are in volume 5 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1984. The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--contains chapters 1 through 4 of a new book, The Issue of Christ Being Glorified by the Father with the Divine Glory, which are in volume 5 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994–1997. The chapters in this section speak of the concealed glory of Christ's divinity and the release of the glory of Christ's divinity, which issued in the incorporation of the consummated God with the regenerated believers. The final chapter in this section begins to present the three aspects of the incorporation of the consummated God with the regenerated believers.

Debate abounds on the future of Israel and Israel's relation to the church, not only between dispensationalists and non-dispensationalists, but among dispensationalists themselves. In the past that debate has sometimes been acrimonious, and proponents of the differing viewpoints have found little common ground. In recent years, however, views have been modified and developed so that the dialogue is increasingly by cooperation and a mutual exploration of diverse ideas. The Case for Progressive Dispensationalism is intended to enlighten the debate in that same irenic spirit. The book is solidly dispensational in perspective in affirming that the Old Testament prophecies are completely fulfilled in the future, that the nation of Israel has a prophetic future, and that Israel is not the church. Dr. Saucy departs from classic dispensationalism, however, in showing that (1) the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy begins in the present church age, and (2) the church is not a parenthesis in God's program but represents a continuity with the Old Testament messianic program. This modified dispensationalism seeks to satisfy many of the objections of non-dispensational approaches to eschatology while retaining the crucial elements of biblical interpretation that characterize dispensational thought.
