Book Description
Discover what it Means to be Truly Spiritual Many Western Christians get sucked into the crippling thinking that a life which God will honor means going through the motions of religious observation without any real attention to the process of character transformation as we follow the example of Christ. Still others, especially those in the charismatic circles to whom most of this book will address - the same circles in which the author spent most of his Christian life - seem to believe that a truly spiritual life is one that is marked by ecstatic emotional experiences with only a secondary focus on the daily task of building one's faith and character down in the trenches of day-to-day living where emotional highs are often absent. A discussion on the importance of understanding God's work in the day-to-day might not seem like material noteworthy enough to write a book about. Yet, you might be surprised how much emphasis God puts on it and how many Christians are frustrated in their spiritual walks because they fail to recognize how God works in the everyday events of their common day. Andrew G. Robbins has been in different facets of ministry since 1993, mostly in the areas of worship leading and teaching. In January 2010, Andrew and his wife, Donna, launched Blessed Life Fellowship (www.BlessedLifeFellowship.org), a church and ministry devoted to teaching God's people about the goodness of God and His Kingdom principles for living and experiencing God's abundance. A successful businessman and entrepreneur for the last two decades, Mr. Robbins is also an active writer, and has authored numerous books, articles, and blogs. Andrew and Donna reside in central Indiana and have three children - Hannah, Luke, and Drew.

Book Description
A daughter chronicles her mother's life through poetry. The author also shares her thoughts about the devastation she feels with her mother having a terminal illness. Author, L.D. Sargent wrote a book to honor her mother Doris Banbury, who was diagnosed with Dementia in 2002. The book covers Doris' life from birth in New York, 1933 until her diagnosis. L.D. put her mother's life to poetry to represent a life that was colorful, eclectic and creative. Each poem symbolizes various events in Doris' life that she shared with L.D. Some poems rhymn, some are abstract, but each poem is meant to capture her mother's world. Preceeding each of the poems are Ghanan African symbols that L.D. used to represent their meaning. FRONT COVER: Author's mother and grandmother. BACK COVER: Author and her mother.
