God has prepared a kingdom (John 14:1-3) through Jesus Christ our Lord. The kingdom is free and available to all willing to be a child of God (Romans 8:14) Inheriting the kingdom of God does not take place by desire. Nor can it be entered into by force. Its not a place that you can see or touch or feel or search for on a map. It is not a place, it is a relationship. It is the relationship mankind has with their Creator God when they surrender their all to Him allowing Him to be the King of every aspect of their lives. Thus they become the children of God. Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devils work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because Gods seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not Gods child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister. (1 John 3: 7-10) The kingdom or inheritance of God is entered into by the righteous. Its entered into by those who recognize they are lost sinners who have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 5:9; 12:11). Its inherited by those who surrender their will to God allowing Him to mold them into what He wants them to be, as the potter molds (Isaiah 64:8) the clay in making a useful vessel.

If Jesus of Nazareth is the Jewish Messiah, then where is his messianic kingdom? Could it be that the kingdom of the triune God manifests itself as two kingdoms: one being the Son's messianic kingdom on this earth when it is restored to an Edenic paradise achieved through the "first resurrection" of the natural body of the departed saints; and the other being the Father's eternal kingdom in heaven achieved when Christ comes again, raptures the saints, destroys this Genesis creation, and takes the immortal sons of God to the new heavens and new earth (Rev. 20:4-5, 12)? This book explores the possibility that instead of Christ returning to this earth to establish his millennial kingdom, Christ remains in heaven seated at the right hand of the Father when he rules the world. He is God, after all. As such, he has a divine right to rule over his restored creation.

Founded upon the covenant of Jehovah with David, a covenant subsequently confirmed by Jehovah's oath, the great theme of predictive prophecy is that kingdom. Even the order of the setting up of the kingdom, relatively to the great Gentile world-empires, is declared. The events attending the setting up of the kingdom of the heavens on the earth are described. The New Testament carries forward the Old Testament foreview of the kingdom into greater detail, but without change. The very first mention of Christ in the first verse of the first chapter in the New Testament identifies Him with the Davidic Covenant, and the promise of Gabriel to His virgin mother is a new confirmation in express terms of that covenant. The New Testament reveals the present age as a parenthesis in the prophetic program during which the Church is called out from among the Gentiles, a stranger and pilgrim body, belonging to the kingdom of God, but in no sense identical with the kingdom of heaven. I welcome therefore this present book on these fundamental truths.
