Book Description
Excerpt from The Genealogist, 1913, Vol. 29: A Quarterly Magazine of Genealogical, Antiquarian, Topographical, and Heraldic Research In this volume the Grants and Certificates of Arms contributed by Mr. Jewel's have been completed and form the largest armorial collection which has ever been printed in any Magazine. When it was commenced neither I nor the contributor realized that it would take so long to finish, but owing to want of space it has been found possible to insert only a few pages in each number. The subscribers will, I know, join with me in cordial thanks to Mr. Jewers for his kindness in persevering with this useful work during so many years. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Find more at www.forgottenbooks.com This book is a reproduction of an important historical work. Forgotten Books uses state-of-the-art technology to digitally reconstruct the work, preserving the original format whilst repairing imperfections present in the aged copy. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in our edition. We do, however, repair the vast majority of imperfections successfully; any imperfections that remain are intentionally left to preserve the state of such historical works.
