All of my clients are 1st or 2nd generation families, most are entrepreneurial, and all have some desire to improve their direct investments into operating businesses and real estate assets. After meeting over 2,000 family offices in person, speaking at 250+ events and signing agreements with over 30 families worth $100M+ over the last 12 years I have seen that those newly liquid or ultra-wealthy make almost all of the same mistakes. Book Description
The town of Superior Ohio, certainly was living up to its name! In what was undoubtedly the most spectacular feat of the century, it simply picked itself up one night and rose two full miles above Earth! Radio messages stated simply that Superior had seceded from Earth.....But Don Cort, stranded on that rising town, was beginning to suspect that nothing was simple about Superior except its citizens. Calmly they accepted their rise in the world as being due to one of their local townspeople, a crackpot professor. But after a couple of weeks of floating around, it began to be obvious that the professor had no idea how to get them down. So then it was up to Cort: either find a way to anchor Superior, or spend the rest of his days on the smallest----and the nuttiest-----planet in the galaxy!

Book Description
Across Guatemala, Mayan peoples are struggling to recover from decades of cataclysmic upheaval--religious conversions, civil war, displacement, military repression. Richard Wilson carried out long-term research with Q’eqchi’-speaking Mayas in the province of Alta Verapaz to ascertain how these events affected social organization and identity. He finds that their rituals of fertility and healing--abandoned in the 1970s during Catholic and Protestant evangelizations--have been reinvented by an ethnic revivalist movement led by Catholic lay activists, who seek to renovate the earth cult in order to create a new pan-Q’eqchi’ ethnic identity.

Book Description
Taking a hard look at the English language and the mess that it has become, this is a hilarious, and topical, self righteous stab at the invention of ridiculous, nonsensical words that not only are just plain crap but also make those who dare speak them sound like complete twits. The author lets loose on how those words were created and how they escaped and survived in the wild instead of being killed at a young age. Written in an utterly fantastic ranting style, this sharp shooting of the ridiculousness of the modern English language - and the morons who use it - is a must-have for word-lovers and grammar sticklers.

Book Description
JACK LONDON (1876-1916), American novelist, born in San Francisco, the son of an itinerant astrologer and a spiritualist mother. He grew up in poverty, scratching a living in various legal and illegal ways -robbing the oyster beds, working in a canning factory and a jute mill, serving aged 17 as a common sailor, and taking part in the Klondike gold rush of 1897. This various experience provided the material for his works, and made him a socialist. "The son of the Wolf" (1900), the first of his collections of tales, is based upon life in the Far North, as is the book that brought him recognition, "The Call of the Wild" (1903), which tells the story of the dog Buck, who, after his master ́s death, is lured back to the primitive world to lead a wolf pack. Many other tales of struggle, travel, and adventure followed, including "The Sea-Wolf" (1904), "White Fang" (1906), "South Sea Tales" (1911), and "Jerry of the South Seas" (1917). One of London ́s most interesting novels is the semi-autobiographical "Martin Eden" (1909). He also wrote socialist treatises, autobiographical essays, and a good deal of journalism.
