C., until he retired a few years ago. Even then he was not content to take a well-earned rest, but continued to fill the pulpits where there was no regular minister or as a supply, up until shortly before his last illness. His interest in the college and in Virginia, his mother state, never abated, and for a number of years after his resignation he and Mrs. Graham would often spend a part Of their summers here.
