Book Description
Excerpt from Joint Environmental Impact Statement and Environmental Impact Report: Proposed Agreement Between the United States of America and the Department of Water Resources of the State of California for Coordinated Operation of the Central Valley Project and the State Water Project, April, 1986 This was a complex and somewhat unique project, touching on many significant and sensitive issues. Many comments raised issues that, although related to project Operations, were beyond the scope and intent of the Coordinated Operation Agreement, and were generally related to separate or future actions not governed by the Agreement. Even though these are separate issues, they are important to clarify, and the general issues section provides discussion on these points.
