L’évolution de l’exercice officinal, notamment depuis les nouvelles missions du pharmacien décrétées lors de la loi HPST et de la récente convention nationale des pharmaciens, tend à développer, à valoriser, et même à rémunérer, le rôle de conseil et d’accompagnement du pharmacien. Ces missions nouvellement misent en avant intègrent en particulier la participation du pharmacien d’officine aux soins de premiers recours, dont la promotion et l’éducation à la santé. Les formes que peuvent prendre cette participation sont variées et les ateliers de groupe en font partie. A partir d’expériences d’atelier de groupe sur l’éducation à la santé réalisées dans des milieux spécifiques, tels que le milieu pénitentiaire ou un C.A.T (Centre d’Aide par le Travail), ce travail propose d’appliquer ce concept au milieu officinal. Ces ateliers seraient ainsi animés par le pharmacien d’officine, pour sa patientèle. Ainsi, les ateliers de groupe d’éducation à la santé à l’officine, est une initiative qui pourrait être perçue comme avant-gardiste dans le cadre de cette évolution du métier.
