IDEALISM: Perfect Idealism Defined Within The Already But Not Yet
Author: donald perry
Publisher: Lulu.com
ISBN: 0359250432
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 400
Book Description
This commentary on the book of Revelation is from a Reformed Orthodox Idealistic and Futuristic point of view. Previously I have wrestled with different Preterism and Redirectionalism views. However, once I fully understood salvation from the Reformed perspective the Lord saw fit to give me better understanding of the book of Revelation and Eschatology. Previously I was under the belief of OSAS Charles Stanley heresy. Concerning the eschatological perspective: We know that the Lord promised the seven churches in Revelation that He was coming to them, and that the faithful churches would remain. Thus His word was fulfilled. Yet, the resurrection change of 1 Cor. 15 for the living did not happen as far as they could tell. This means that the second coming is now in the present idealistically while we wait. Therefore, we sanctify ourselves and the church for when He shall appear. When He comes He will make an end of sin, our sin nature forever, and pain and death will end

A Layman’s Guide to Revelation
Author: J. J. Ramsay
Publisher: WestBow Press
ISBN: 1973681374
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 458
Book Description
The Layman’s Guide to Revelation is a compilation of renowned expositors with different interpretive views of eschatology. The book guides its readers into an in depth study of the Revelation using the critical analysis of commentators of the past to help the reader better understand the present times and God’s plan for the future. The guide defines key words in the Greek translation, and explains the symbolic use of numbers, colors and the foreshadowing of crucial aspects of Israel’s history which will aid in deciphering the visions given to the apostle. The guide further explains the types and use of the Old Testament prophets. By understanding the Old Testament Scriptures the student will better appreciate the background of the language and the Hebraic symbolism used in Revelation. The guide also sheds light on the use of foreshadowing of past empires used in the Old Testament that will further aid in the interpretation of the future and the end-times that we are assuredly apart. The guide takes the reader verse by verse; chapter by chapter through the commentators interpretive views so they can study at their own pace and arrive at their own conclusions. The book also includes a commentary by the author that offers his own insights into Revelation that will surely be of use to those who look to God’s word to better understand the times we live.

The End Times Revealed in Revelation
Author: Kathy Gibson
Publisher: Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.
ISBN: 1685702112
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 310
Book Description
In the Bible, Genesis is the first book, the book of beginning; and Revelation is the last book, the book of closing, like the grand finale of the Bible, although you may not picture it that way. Like most people, I thought Revelation was all about things that were hard to understand. But with the Lord's help, nothing is impossible with Him, and that is what He has done for me. If you ever put a jigsaw puzzle together, you know each piece must be put in its correct place before you have a completed picture, and Revelation is like that. As we go through Revelation, puzzle pieces will be found in its chapters, beginning with seven churches. Then more pieces are found in God's wrath, starting with the seven seals, seven trumpets, seven vials, seven worship celebrations, and seven beatitudes. And each of those sevens will form a completed picture of how the end-times are revealed in Revelation. The thousand-year Millennium is next, with Jesus Christ ruling and reigning on the earth as the King of kings. And after that, Satan and sin is finished forever, and eternity begins without end! In this study of Revelation, we will see it is an amazing book with a wonderful ending! So why study Revelation? Because in Revelation 1:3, we are told, "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand."
