The Babbidge Reservoir Dam is a 38-foot-high earth embankment with a reinforced concrete corewall. There is a 36-foot-long concrete overflow spillway at the left abutment and a gatehouse at the crest which controls flow from the reservoir and from the Quarry Dam upstream.
