Excerpt from Memoirs of the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard College, Vol. 30: 1904-1917 The collection of sponges with Which the following report deals has been found to include forty-seven species and subspecies. Of these, twenty-six, representing thirteen genera, fall in the Hexactinellida, seven, representing three genera, fall in the Tetractinellida, and fourteen, representing nine genera, fall in the Monaxonida.
