Book Description
The authors analyze the decay B° 2!KK−K° using 383 million B{bar B} events collected by the BABAR detector at SLAC to extract CP violation parameter values over the Dalitz plot. Combining all KK−K° events, they find A{sub CP} = -0.015 ± 0.077 ± 0.053 and [beta]{sub eff} = 0.352 ± 0.076 ± 0.026 rad, corresponding to a CP violation significance of 4.8[sigma]. A second solution near [pi]/2 - [beta]{sub eff} is disfavored with a significance of 4.5[sigma]. They also report A{sub CP} and [beta]{sub eff} separately for decays to [phi](1020)K°, f0(980)K°, and K+K−K° with m{sub K{sup +}K−}> 1.1 GeV/c2.

Book Description
The authors present a preliminary measurement of CP-violation parameters in the decay B° → KK−K{sub S}°, using approximately 465 million B{bar B} events collected by the BABAR detector at SLAC. Reconstructing the neutral kaon as K{sub S}° →?+?− or K{sub S}° →?°?°, they analyze the Dalitz plot distribution and measure fractions to intermediate states. They extract CP parameters from the asymmetries in amplitudes and phases between B° and {bar B}° decays across the Dalitz plot. From a fit to the whole Dalitz plot, they measure?{sub eff} = 0.44 ± 0.07 ± 0.02, A{sub CP} = 0.03 ± 0.07 ± 0.02, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second ones are systematic. For decays to?K{sub S}°, they measure?{sub eff} = 0.13 ± 0.13 ± 0.02, A{sub CP} = 0.14 ± 0.19 ± 0.02. For decays to f0K{sub S}°, they measure?{sub eff} = 0.15 ± 0.13 ± 0.03, A{sub CP} = 0.01 ± 0.26 ± 0.07. From a fit to the region of the Dalitz plot with m{sub K{sup +}K−}> 1.1 GeV/c2, they measure?{sub eff} = 0.52 ± 0.08 ± 0.03, A{sub CP} = 0.05 ± 0.09 ± 0.04.

Book Description
We present measurements of branching fractions and CP-violating asymmetries for neutral B meson decays to two-body final states of charged pions and kaons. The results are obtained from a data sample of about 88 million[Upsilon](4S)[yields] B[bar B] decays collected between 1999 and 2002 with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC. From a time-independent fit we measure the charge-averaged branching fractions[Beta](B[sup 0][yields][pi][sup+][pi][sup -])= (4.7[+-] 0.6[+-] 0.2) x 10[sup -6] and[Beta](B[sup 0][yields] K[sup+][pi][sup -])= (17.9[+-] 0.9[+-] 0.7) x 10[sup -6], where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic; the 90% confidence level upper limit[Beta](B[sup 0][yields] K[sup+]K[sup -])

Book Description
We present a measurement of the time-dependent CP-violating (CPV) asymmetries in B[sup 0] [yields] K[sub s][sup 0][pi][sup 0] decays based on 124 million [Upsilon](4S) [yields] B[bar B] decays collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC. In a sample containing 122 [+-] 16 signal decays, we obtain the magnitude of the direct CPV asymmetry C[sub K[sub S][sup 0][pi][sup 0]] = 0.40 [sub -0.28][sup +0.27] [+-] 0.09 and the magnitude of the CPV asymmetry in the interference between mixing and decay S[sub K[sub S][sup 0][pi][sup 0]] = 0.48 [sub -0.47][sup +0.38] [+-] 0.06 where the first error is statistical and the second systematic.

Book Description
We measure the time-dependent CP asymmetry parameters in B° 2!KK−K° based on a data sample of approximately 227 million B-meson pairs recorded at the [Upsilon](4S) resonance with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II B-meson Factory at SLAC. We reconstruct two-body B° decays to [phi](1020)K{sub s}° and [phi](1020)K{sub L}°, and the three-body decay KK−K{sub s}° with [phi](1020)K{sub s}° excluded. For the B° 2![phi]K° decays, they measure sin 2[beta]{sub eff}([phi]K°) = +0.50 ± 0.25(stat){sub -0.04}{sup +0.07}(syst). The B° 2!K+K−K{sub s}° decays are dominated by K+K− S-wave, as determined from an angular analysis; they measure sin 2[beta]{sub eff} (K+K−K{sub s}°) = +0.55 ± 0.22(stat) ± 0.04(syst) ± 0.11(CP), where the last error is due to the uncertainty in the fraction of CP-even contributions to the decay amplitude. We find no evidence for direct CP violation.

Book Description
The authors measure the time-dependent CP asymmetry parameters in B0 → K+K-K0 based on a data sample of approximately 277 million B-meson pairs recorded at the Y(4S) resonance with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II B-meson Factory at SLAC. They reconstruct two-body B0 decays to ?(1020)K$0top{S}$ and ?(1020)K$0top{L}$. Using a time-dependent maximum-likelihood fit, they measure sin2?eff(?K0) = 0.48 ± 0.28 ± 0.10, and C(?K0) = 0.16 ± 0.25 ± 0.09, where the first error is statistical, and the second is systematic. They also present measurements of the CP-violating asymmetries in the decay B0 → f0(→ ?+?-)K$0top{S}$. The results are obtained from a data sample of 209 x 106 Y(4S) → B$ar{B}$ decays, also collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC. From a time-dependent maximum-likelihood fit they measure the mixing-induced CP violation parameter S(f0(980)K$0top{S}$) = - sin 2?efff0(980)K$0top{S}$ = -0.95$+0.32top{-0.23}$ ± 0.10 and the direct CP violation parameter C(f0(980)K$0top{S}$) = - 0.24 ± 0.31 ± 0.15, where the first errors are statistical and the second systematic. Finally, they present a measurement of the branching fraction of the decay B0 → f0(→ ?+?-)K$0top{S}$. From a time-dependent maximum likelihood fit to a data sample of 123 x 106 Y(4S) → B$ar{B}$ decays they find 93.6 ± 13.6 ± 6.4 signal events corresponding to a branching fraction of ?(B0 → f0(980)(→ ?+?-)K0) = (6.0 ± 0.9 ± 0.6 ± 1.2) x 10-6, where the first error is statistical, the second systematic, and the third due to model uncertainties.
