Book Description
CE MEMOIRE PRESENTE DES METHODES ET TECHNIQUES INNOVANTES POUR LA LOCALISATION DE DEFAUTS DANS LES CIRCUITS INTEGRES COMPLEXES DONT LE DESSIN DES MASQUES EST INCONNU. LES AVANCEES PROPOSEES REPONDENT A UN BESOIN RENCONTRE POUR L'ANALYSE DE DEFAILLANCE DES CIRCUITS COMMERCIAUX ET PROGRAMMABLES. UNE REVUE DE L'ETAT DE L'ART DES TECHNIQUES DE LOCALISATION PAR CONTRASTE DE POTENTIEL A MIS EN EVIDENCE L'ABSENCE DE TECHNIQUES OU METHODES POUR REPONDRE EFFICACEMENT ET DANS DES DELAIS BREFS A CE DEFI DE LOCALISATION. LE LOGICIEL IMAGE FAULT ANALYSIS (IFA) IMPLANTE SUR LES TESTEURS PAR FAISCEAU D'ELECTRONS IDS 5000 OFFRE LES BASES D'UNE METHODE DE LOCALISATION PAR COMPARAISON D'IMAGES ENTRE UN CIRCUIT DEFAILLANT ET UN CIRCUIT DE REFERENCE. EN S'APPUYANT SUR IFA, NOUS AVONS EVALUE DE FACON PRATIQUE ET THEORIQUE LA DUREE DE LOCALISATION ET LES PARAMETRES MIS EN JEUX, TELS QUE LA SURFACE DU CIRCUIT, LE NOMBRE DE VECTEURS ET LE TEMPS DE CHANGEMENT DE CIRCUITS. BASEES SUR CETTE ETUDE, NOUS AVONS DEVELOPPE DEUX APPROCHES : IFA DICHOTOMIE QUI RAMENE LA DUREE DE LOCALISATION DE PLUSIEURS MOIS AVEC IFA AUTOMATIQUE (METHODE DE BASE SUR L'IDS) A MOINS D'UNE SEMAINE (28 H MACHINE) POUR UN CIRCUIT PROGRAMMABLE FPGA D'UNE TAILLE DE 1 CM#2 ET IFA BACKTRACING QUI REDUIT CETTE DUREE A MOINS DE HUIT HEURES POUR LE MEME CIRCUIT DANS LE CAS D'UN FONCTIONNEMENT MARGINAL (LE MEME CIRCUIT PEUT ETRE MIS DANS UNE CONFIGURATION DEFAILLANTE OU FONCTIONNELLE). POUR ALLER PLUS LOIN ET REDUIRE ENCORE LA DUREE DE LA LOCALISATION, DES INFORMATIONS SUPPLEMENTAIRES ONT ALORS ETE INJECTEES PERMETTANT LE DEVELOPPEMENT D'APPROCHES NOVATRICES TELLES QUE : - LA LOCALISATION ASSISTEE PAR LE TEST I#D#D#Q, - LA LOCALISATION ASSISTEE PAR LA SIMULATION ELECTRIQUE POUR LE TEST INTERNE, - LA LOCALISATION ASSISTEE PAR LA GENERATION D'UN PSEUDO-LAYOUT. CETTE DERNIERE APPROCHE, DANS LE CAS D'UN CIRCUIT A1280 PERMET, GRACE A LA TECHNIQUE DE LA SELECTION DE SIGNAUX (QUE NOUS AVONS IMPLANTEE SUR L'IDS), DE S'AFFRANCHIR DE LA CONTRAINTE DU MODE IMAGE POUR ACCEDER AUX OUTILS DE NAVIGATION, SIMULATION ET MESURE COMME POUR UN ASIC POUR LEQUEL LE DESSIN DES MASQUES EST ACCESSIBLE.

Book Description
Building an Emergency Plan provides a step-by-step guide that a cultural institution can follow to develop its own emergency preparedness and response strategy. This workbook is divided into three parts that address the three groups generally responsible for developing and implementing emergency procedures—institution directors, emergency preparedness managers, and departmental team leaders—and discuss the role each should play in devising and maintaining an effective emergency plan. Several chapters detail the practical aspects of communication, training, and forming teams to handle the safety of staff and visitors, collections, buildings, and records. Emergencies covered include natural events such as earthquakes or floods, as well as human-caused emergencies, such as fires that occur during renovation. Examples from the Barbados Museum and Historical Society, the Museo de Arte Popular Americano in Chile, the Mystic Seaport Museum in Connecticut, and the Seattle Art Museum show how cultural institutions have prepared for emergencies relevant to their sites, collections, and regions.

Book Description
The result of years of work by scholars from all over the world, The UNESCO General History of Africa reflects how the different peoples of Africa view their civilizations and shows the historical relationships between the various parts of the continent. Historical connections with other continents demonstrate Africa's contribution to the development of human civilization. Each volume is lavishly illustrated and contains a comprehensive bibliography. This fifth volume of the acclaimed series covers the history of the continent from the beginning of the sixteenth century to the close of the eighteenth century in which two themes emerge: first, the continuing internal evolution of the states and cultures of Africa during this period second, the increasing involvement of Africa in external trade--with major but unforeseen consequences for the whole world. In North Africa, we see the Ottomans conquer Egypt. South of the Sahara, some of the larger, older states collapse, and new power bases emerge. Traditional religions continue to coexist with both Christianity (suffering setbacks) and Islam (in the ascendancy). Along the coast, particularly of West Africa, Europeans establish a trading network which, with the development of New World plantation agriculture, becomes the focus of the international slave trade. The immediate consequences of this trade for Africa are explored, and it is argued that the long-term global consequences include the foundation of the present world-economy with all its built-in inequalities.
