Book Description
This small book describes a fifteen-day car trip you can take in Apulia and the neighboring regions of Basilicata and Abruzzo, passing through important archeological, artistic, and cultural locations. The itinerary starts from the town of Ortona a Mare in Abruzzo. It goes through several Apulia cities and then to Matera, a stunning city in Basilicata, vibrant with history, cave hotels, and authentic Italian food. The time to visit Matera is now. The ancient town, 2019 European Culture Capital, could be Italy's next great attraction. The itinerary then returns to Apulia and touches other several cities, to arrive in Alberobello, known for its Trulli, whitewashed stone huts with conical roofs - the hilltop Rione Monti district has hundreds of them. It continues with other towns in Apulia and the Gargano peninsula, with its National Park, home to the last remaining part of the oak and beech Forest Umbra that once covered most of central Europe. It passes through Termoli to end up again in Ortona al Mare. It also describes a possible visit to the Tremiti Islands from Termoli and how to get there. There are several ferry companies providing transportation services to these islands, the service is available from different ports, with or without the possibility of bringing your car with you. Finding the right solution for your needs using Google is at least confusing if you don't understand Italian; you can spend a full day to figure out what is available and when. In the guide, I present you with the outcome of my research. The guide includes a chapter on the food and wine of Apulia. A list of local recipes is present; the original recipes' links are active in the digital editions.

Book Description
The highest mountains in Europe, medieval castles to protect the roads that cross the Alps, used since the time of the Roman Empire, agricultural traditions and their history still alive today, the most sophisticated and advanced facilities for skiing in resorts frequented by millions of skiers from around the world, villages that can be reached only by cable car and do not have a road for cars, natural parks that protect flora and fauna, all this, and more, is told in this book on the Valle d'Aosta, which describes eight routes to visit all the localities of the Valley. Valle d’Aosta is a vertical region, you might say, in the physical sense, for the many high peaks surrounding it (including Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe at 4,807 meters). But also, for the surprising concentration, in a region of such reduced dimensions, of so many natural splendors, of so many monuments, of so much precious historical and artistic heritage, of a density which evokes, in its vertical aspect, the crowding of skyscrapers in a metropolis where horizontal urban space is scarce and precious. Aosta, the regional capital and the only province of the Valley, is a city rich in history. Traces of the ancient Augusta Pretoria (the Latin name of Aosta) can easily be seen, such as the magnificent Arch of Augustus (25 B.C.) and the Roman Theatre remains. For Aosta, the Middle Ages were anything but dark: as an essential center of commercial traffic with France and Switzerland, the city enjoyed an extended period of prosperity. It is no coincidence that the Cathedral and Church of S. Orso, two churches of great beauty, dating back to the Middle Ages. This guide covers visits to the mountain region of Aosta Valley, with the description of eight itineraries to visit the valley. The locations covered are the city of Aosta, the lower valley with its castles, a visit to Cogne and the Gran Paradiso Park, a visit to Morgex, La Thuile and the Piccolo San Bernardo Pass, one to Courmayeur, one to Valpelline and the Gran San Bernardo Pass, and all the villages of the Valtournenche Valley. There are extensive descriptions and color photos of the attractions. It has the listing of many reviews for the best-recommended restaurants for all the locations; you have the necessary information ready: the name, address, and telephone number are included in the guide together with the review.

Book Description
Over the years many people have mentioned to me that I should write a book. Presently the time has come to tell my stories of what my God-given talents have helped me accomplish throughout my life. This book shares some of my legacy with the world. Within this autobiography I recount many of my personal stories and of some unusual experiences, namely: My Journey into Three Worlds: Physical, Psychic and Spiritual. Music has played a vital role throughout my life. Ive sung with 18-piece bands including Lionel Hampton and his band, jazz trios and quartets, solo with my guitar, performing in two separate duos plus I have written three musical stage plays and 75 songs. During this time, I was also working at the University of Vermont and raising my daughter by myself following a divorce. I have been a psychic all of my adult life having read thousands of people from all walks of life as I was able to lift the veil of their future. I was also blessed with a healing gift which helped hundreds of people alleviate assorted health problems. Some are chronicled within this book. Adding to my spiritual responsibilities, sometimes I had the most awesome visions for the world and what Gods judgment may bring to humankind. See within. I hope you will enjoy reading this book as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Simone Boisvert Author
