Book Description
This book contains the thoughts, memories, dreams, hopes, and desires that have been dwelling within my psyche for the greater portion of my life. With works spanning the last two decades, the myriad of emotions, through which you will be taken, will surely give rise to something inside each of you. Whether you are the hopeless romantic whose heart weeps daily for that which you may never have, or if you are the jaded and jilted lover whose heart has been shattered into countless pieces, or even if you are just the broken down pile of flesh and bones we all succumb to being eventually, you will relate to something inside. Each of these very words has been torn from my battered and beaten soul with one purpose, and that is to enlighten the world with an experienced perspective. If but one of my words can inspire change in a lone individual then I know my life has meaning.

Book Description
The memoirs of a hang glider pilot and pioneer and his first-hand account of designing the revolutionary Shadow microlight aircraft. This fascinating story begins in 1973 when David Cook built a glider in an attempt to win the Selsey Birdman Rally—an annual event where all types of creations are launched from the end of Bognor Pier. Between 1975 and 1977 he won every National and International hang gliding competition entered, and then in 1977 he designed and built a power unit for his glider. In 1978 it became the first and lowest-powered microlight to cross the English Channel. Cook’s successes in this venture led to sponsorship from Duckhams Oils and there followed a period of demonstration flights at major air shows. In 1982 he designed a microlight called Shadow and in 1983 it took the FAI world speed and distance records for the class. In 1992 he took the aircraft to 23,600 ft to claim the world altitude record for the class, beaten later by himself in a newly designed Streak to 27,150 ft. David started a company to build the Shadow in 1984 and has demonstrated its remarkable flying abilities around the world, during which time he had many amusing and some exciting experiences. In 1987 the Shadow won the British Design Award.

Book Description
Red, White & Royal Blue meets A Cuban Girl's Guide to Tea and Tomorrow in this unlikely London romance by debut author Clara Alves! Sixteen-year-old Dayana has always dreamed of visiting London -- to walk along the Thames, take pictures outside Buckingham Palace, and maybe even get a glimpse of Arthur, Prince of Wales, whose marriage has been all over tabloids. But the trip of her dreams turns into a royal nightmare when her mother passes away. Now, Day must leave Rio de Janeiro to live with her estranged father and his new family in London. As it turns out, the U.K. isn't exactly Day's cup of tea. She struggles to forgive her father for walking out on her and her mom all those years ago; fights with her stepsister constantly; detests her stepmother; and she can't even see One Direction in concert because they've been broken up for ages. All she wants to do is trade the rainy skies of London for the sun and beaches of Rio. That's when she runs into the girl of her dreams -- literally: The coincidentally named Diana, a witty, funny, redhead who was in the middle of . . . escaping Buckingham Palace? Something isn't right here, but it makes Diana all the more alluring. As time passes, and the two girls grow closer, Day can't help but wonder if there is more than a little truth to the rumors surrounding Prince Arthur -- and if Diana might be involved somehow. Is it all in her head, or could Day be caught up in a real-life royal scandal?
