She has taken some of the poetry that she has secretly written over the span of thirty years, and has honored the memory of her beloved dad, cancer warrior Calvin H. Samuels, by weaving some of his paintings into her book. Now living in Charlotte, North Carolina, Andrea enjoys spending time with her son, mother, family, and friends. She loves connecting with other people through her extensive volunteer work in her community.
