Ce travail présente une contribution à la segmentation de l'écriture arabe manuscrite en blocs, en parties de mots et en caractères, basée sur la Transformée de Hough et les opérateurs morphologiques. La contribution proposée est appliquée sur les documents semi-structurés tels que les chèques bancaires arabes, pour l'extraction des composantes manuscrites. L'extraction des parties de mots est effectuée sur les composantes détectées, en appliquant la Transformée de Hough pour la détection des lignes de texte, les opérateurs morphologiques pour la construction des composantes connexes et l'étiquetage pour la distinction entre ces composantes. L'avantage de la méthode nommée TH-MM, est qu'elle ne nécessite pas une phase de reconnaissance pour la segmentation de l'écriture arabe manuscrite. Une évaluation expérimentale de la segmentation en blocs, en parties de mots et en caractères, est effectuée sur la base de données des chèques bancaires arabes CENPARMI et la base de données des noms de villes tunisiennes IFN/ENIT.
