Le travail consiste à étudier et à mettre en œuvre une architecture modulaire pour une station de programmation de robots industriels. Cette architecture, qui présente une certaine indépendance vis-à-vis des matériels utilisés, comprend plusieurs modules : le module Tâche, le module Coordinateur, le module Manipulateur et les modules Capteurs, y compris le module Vision. Avec cette architecture la station permet la description, l'exécution d'une tâche de type "prendre et déposer", ainsi que la prise en compte d'informations sensorielles pendant l'exécution. La modularité qui permet la commande de différents types de manipulateurs de robots devrait faciliter l'intégration des capteurs. Nous avons défini un langage expérimental d'un niveau intermédiaire qui se situe entre le niveau effecteur et le niveau objet. La description de tâche dans ce langage est basée sur l'utilisation des repères fonctionnels qui correspondent chacun à une caractéristique géométrique d'un objet. Une fonction de simulation a été réalisée pour faciliter la description de tâche. Elle permet de vérifier le déroulement logique d'une tâche et l'exécutabilité de cette dernière par un manipulateur spécifique. Pendant l'exécution d'une tâche, la communication entre les modules s'effectue par l'envoi de messages. Le fonctionnement interne d'un module est totalement transparent pour un autre. La station fonctionne en mode "maître-esclaves". Le module Coordinateur en tant que "maître" coordonne les actions des autres modules pour mener àbien l'exécution d'une tâche. Il doit d'une part communiquer avec les modules Capteurs pour obtenir les informations sensorielles nécessaires à l'exécution d'une tâche, d'autre part donner au module Manipulateur les instructions pour que ce dernier puisse effectuer les opérations désirées
