"At the first hearing of the Royal Commission on Health Services in Halifax, on October 30, 1961, Dalhousie University presented a brief relating to the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and the Health Professions. Several questions were asked by the commissioners, and the University representatives agreed to provide replies. In addition, the brief contained a reference to certain studies on the cost of medical and dental education. Data on this survey have now been analyzed. It has also been noted that the transcriptions of the hearing were not quite complete in a few sections. This supplementary brief is cross-referenced to relate it to the first brief and contains: (1) amplification or correction of the transcript of the hearing (2) replies to specific questions from the Commission (3) special reports."-Intro.
