Illustrative problems are presented in terms of commonly used voltages and current ratings. To enhance the utility of the book, important points and review questions (objective and descriptive type) have been included at the end of each chapter. Model question papers have been provided to help students prepare better for the semester examinations. Multiple choice questions along with answers have been given towards the end of the book for the benefit of students taking up competitive tests.
