A Treatise on Practice in the Courts of Common Pleas of Pennsylvania, Vol. 1 of 2 (Classic Reprint)
Author: Frederick Carroll Brewster
Publisher: Forgotten Books
ISBN: 9780428170356
Category : Law
Languages : en
Pages : 974
Book Description
Excerpt from A Treatise on Practice in the Courts of Common Pleas of Pennsylvania, Vol. 1 of 2 Nor is it proposed to make it a resume of decisions on Practice. This would in effect convert it into a digest. Some forty years ago Messrs. Troubat and Haly published a small treatise on Practice, containing only a few hundred pages. The desire for large works subsequently expanded the original edition into two huge volumes. This has been of great advantage to the profession. Without underrating its value, the remark may, however, be safely ventured that the instruction needed by the beginner should be very compact and very clear. It has been my aim simply to assist the tyro. The veteran needs no help, and could far better teach me than receive my instruction. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Find more at www.forgottenbooks.com This book is a reproduction of an important historical work. Forgotten Books uses state-of-the-art technology to digitally reconstruct the work, preserving the original format whilst repairing imperfections present in the aged copy. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in our edition. We do, however, repair the vast majority of imperfections successfully; any imperfections that remain are intentionally left to preserve the state of such historical works.
