Book Description
Yesterday, Today, and Forever is not a theology of the Letter to the Hebrews, nor is it simply another commentary on the text. Nevertheless, if you take time to work through this reading guide, you will gain a rich, holistic understanding of Hebrews' theology, and you will be able to come back to this volume again and again as a resource for personal growth, teaching, and preaching. This book was written out of the author's desire to share the fruit of more than thirty-five years of study and meditation on this often neglected but rich New Testament book, to help readers see its vision of the all-sufficient Christ and to gain a holistic grasp of the way the author of Hebrews has arranged the material of this book to encourage us in a life of faithfulness--a message of importance for the world in which we live. The book of Hebrews has been divided into seven weeks of daily readings (forty-nine days), so you will have time for Hebrews to permeate your heart and mind. If you patiently follow this schedule, you will be rewarded with an understanding of Hebrews unavailable to those who want a quick fix.

Book Description
The Book of Spiritual Poetry By: Rev. Charles E. Pullen One night, the Holy Spirit spoke to Rev. Charles E. Pullen while he was at a low point in his life, saying, “You’re not going to bed; instead, you’re going to write a poem about your life, and it’ll help you feel better.” Thus, The Book of Spiritual Poetry: Enlightenment was born. Through his writings, Rev. Pullen hopes that each reader will receive vibrant inspiration to know the Lord and develop a personal relationship with Him. And for readers who already know Him, Rev. Pullen hopes his poetry helps them know the Lord more closely and intimately. Enlightenment is the first in a series of books he hopes to publish.

Book Description
First published in 1955, this exegesis on the writings of Alexander Pope reveals the technical felicities of his poetry, and is the first to be devoted to the great meaning inherent in his work. One section, which has appeared before and did much to redirect the study of Pope, has been thoroughly revised. Of the other four chapters, one offers an original of The Temple of Fame, and, while discussing this neglected poem, makes several suggestions which may be said to constitute a significant advance in aesthetics. Another analyses Byron’s support of Pope, regarding it as a landmark in the history of English literary criticism and as necessary to the understanding of Pope and Byron alike. The last chapter discusses the relation of Pope’s thought to our own time. This book adds much to what is already known of Pope, and will go far in reviving an interest in the work and philosophy of the Laureate of Peace.
