Book Description
Marriage is not a moral sexual debauchment consented by the society instead it describes an ethical limit of morality in sexual relations beyond which the sexual relations are considered to be illicit or adultery. Marriage is a great attempt to keep the society free from sexual debauchment by assigning one man for one lady and one lady for one man. Marriage is not a compulsion instead it is a confession done with mutual consent to live a peaceful life devotedly with each other. From the point of view of sexual relations, marriage is a factor which distinguishes human from animals. It is sacred tribute to ancestors. It is an indication of family succession or genealogy. Marriage is a ritual to provide social as well as legal acceptance to the child in the womb. Marriage is an indication of the death of the parents in the form of coming generations as it assures the eternal truth that older one has to end to provide the life and opportunities to the incoming generations. For men, marriage is in fact performing the moral, ritualistic and materialistic duties while for women this is mere the accomplishing of sanctifying rites and following the codes of conduct. Marriage is not an agreement done on behalf of a legal contract instead it is a complete dedication free from compulsions. Wherever forementioned feelings do not exist in the background of the objectives of marriage, there marriage means mere accomplishment of sexual satisfaction and false ego and in this situation, marriage is just like a contract which if done by a man with one lady or four ladies, is mere sexual debauchment in the point of view of the morals and ethics.

Book Description
A provocative and bracing send-up of modern masculinity, from the author of Class and The Story of My Purity Marcello, an editor and poet, is on the brink of his forties. Like everyone in his life, including his sister-in-law, he’s writing a novel. This novel. This novel will be about women. Love. Growing older. Maybe even taking responsibility. But unfortunately for Marcello, the women in his life resist definition. They flit and flicker constantly between archetype and actuality: sirens and saviors, subordinates and savants, vixens and villains. So Marcello cannot write plainly about love. Instead, he tries to write into the complexities of his many relationships: Eleonora, the junior editor, his former protegeé and sometime lover; Barbara, his claustrophobic girlfriend; his estranged gay sister; his elegant mother. Fresh, frank, and painfully cool, Francesco Pacifico’s The Women I Love dives nakedly into gender, sex, and power. Set in a vivid and alcoholic Italy, it acknowledges and subverts the narrow ways canonical male writers gaze at, and somehow fail to see, women—illuminating the possibility of equity between people in love, in bed, in work, and in life.

Book Description
these deal with the problem of truth, the actuality in which we live as perceived by the senses, reality as appears to our consciousness, and the relationship between them. In the main part of the book Krishnamurti considers how man's consciousness is made up of all sorts of misconceptions about the 'me', or the ego centre; he also points out how solidly conditioned it is. 'You cannot go through reality to come to truth; you must understand the limitation of reality, which is the whole process of though, ' he says. The book ends with some questions and answers which throw light on certain issues previously touched upon

Book Description
The Colorado Women's Hall of Fame was founded in 1985, by a group of women who were concerned that both historic and contemporary women who shared foresight, vision, enthusiasm, and the power of accomplishment were not receiving appropriate acknowledgment. Fearful that splendid achievements would be forgotten, they wished to honor women who, during their lifetime, made a significant contribution to Colorado as a state or territory. It is the hope of the founders that by so honoring Colorado's women of consequence, their spirits might inspire future generations. In the first decade since the founding, fifty-nine women were selected for induction. Although historians habitually ignored the vital part that women played in the building of the West, in actuality these women's lives contain plots and characters that would enliven the most gripping novels. We have saints, like Frances Wisebart Jacobs and the theatrical angel Helen Bonfils; activists such as Josephine Roche and Rachel Noel; a scientific genius in Florence Sabin; and visionaries like Dana Crawford. There are tragedies, as with the Tabor wives, and the lighter-hearted tales of Mary Elitch Long and Mary Coyle Chase.Women of Consequence provides a bonanza of role models who opened new frontiers for women in so many fields, including business, journalism and newspaper publishing, science and medicine, law, politics, education, charity work, botany and even taxidermy. These stories are sure to inspire, delight, and instruct readers throughout Colorado, from young adults to senior citizens, whether they've lived here all their lives or moved here recently.
