1: Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2: that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. 3: And the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years." 4: There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. (Genesis 6: 1-4 NKJV) 13: "I saw in the visions of my head while on my bed, and there was a watcher, a holy one, coming down from heaven." (Daniel 4:13 NKJV) 17: "This decision is by the decree of the watchers, And the sentence by the word of the holy ones, In order that the living may know That the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, Gives it to whomever He will, And sets over it the lowest of men."(Daniel 4:17 NKJV) What are we to believe when we discover that what we've always thought and believed is so extraordinarily different, it's beyond our wildest imagination? Three unlikely partners become unlikely heroes; Robert, Joshua and Timothy find themselves in just such a plight. In 23rd century Los Angeles, the line that separates science from religion is about to be shattered beyond all time. Join us on a thrill ride solving one mystery after the next, each discovery more astonishing than the previous, when by the power of one courageous young couple's love, mankind's greatest discovery is revealed.

Book Description
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that Watches, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. —Revelation 16:15 Jesus Christ warns us to watch, to be in readiness for his coming, whenever it occurs it would be at a time when people were not expecting Him. Only God knows the time, not even the saints or angels in heaven know the time, we must always be prepared. Christ used nakedness as a symbol of unrighteousness and not being prepared. He counseled the Church of Laodicea to buy from Him “white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness [unrighteous acts] may not be revealed” (Revelation 3:18). Jesus encourages us to watch world events and ourselves to make sure we are always ready.

Book Description
Chapter 3 The First Judgment: The World Prior To Adam There may have been many judgments upon the earth since its beginning millions or billions of years ago; however, the present commentary will deal only with the last tens of thousands of years of earth’s existence. In Genesis 1:2, the verses written by Moses (as author of the Genesis account) portray an earth that was veiled in darkness so that its form could not be discerned. The earth at that time was covered with water (ice) high above the mountain tops so that it gave the appearance of being a dark revolving sphere of frozen water (Table-2). God’s spirit is described as hovering over this revolving ball of water and brooding over the sad condition of this dark, void planet. God did not create a dark and dismal planet at the beginning, because God does not create darkness; in fact, darkness is incompatible with His existence and presence. So what had happened that God viewed (Gen. 1:2) such a decrepit state of the world? Does scripture attempt to explain this phenomenon, or does the inspired word of God remain silent on this issue? It was first proposed as a theory by the Scotsman Thomas Chalmers in the early 19th century that a “gap” in time existed between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2. This gap-in-time would encompass a “ruin-reconstruction theme” and the existence of pre-Adamic living beings. Obviously, a huge catastrophic event would have had to occur to produce this decadent state of the world. The “gap concept” was later popularized by mention in the margin notes of the Scofield Reference Bible.
