Duse is a native of Pittsburgh, PA who spent 20 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer and 16 years with the Department of Defense, Supervisory Property Administrator - retiring with 36 years' service. In the military he traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia [Germany, Vietnam, and Korea] acquiring level 3 language proficiency in the German and Vietnamese languages.
