Book Description
The most important problem of an individual human being is his or her own existence. Self-existence always remains as an impenetrable mystery to humankind. We are eager to know how we are born in this world as a conscious human being just for once, and for a specific time. We can assume that the secret of self-existence lies under the unknown mechanism of subjective consciousness. But who is going to solve the 'riddle' of consciousness? What religion used to tell us was naive. Traditional science cannot solve this from its rigid aspect of objectiveness. Contemporary popular scientists have declared the death of philosophy. So we cannot urge those philosopher who supposed to answer this, or at least, think about this. In this situation, the-I-theory shows the 'light of hope' solving the 'riddle' of subjective consciousness. The inevitable theory (the-I-theory), presented in this book, explains the origin of the universe by means of subjective consciousness. The theory unveils the secret, how you are immortal within a limited time, and how you can be born without the help of a God systematically--and inevitably. At last but not least, you can now scientifically discover what is going to happen to you after you die--with the help of The-I-theory.

Book Description
This book was written with the intention of elucidating points still controversial regarding the nature of human consciousness. We use elements of psychoanalysis as well as a basis of physics and various spiritual currents to construct a comprehensive view of consciousness. A human consciousness is a special physical phenomenon of the universe, a complex mechanism whose laws are intrinsically linked to subjectivity. It is undoubtedly an instigating vision of human nature.

Book Description
On the path of experiencing consciousness, you pick an unknown territory. On the path to consciousness, you don't find anything familiar. Every step you take has no relevance from the past. Every experience remains fresh for you. You have to stay open to different experiences of life. A whole new world opens for you on the path of consciousness. The world that you might have heard in scriptures, but never experienced for the self. The way to the consciousness is through the subtle world. The physical world you are already experiencing outside, while the subtle world exists inside. The path to consciousness brings you closer to the experience of truth. The mind deceives you in as many ways possible, but when you get on the path of experiencing the truth, all the illusions, or delusions of the mind wither away and you experience an altogether a new reality for yourself. The things of the mind keep you separate from the actual reality of life. It's only when you consciously live your daily life putting the things of the mind behind, you experience life from a different perspective. Life is possible without mind. To experience consciousness and to create life out of consciousness, you have to connect with the life of the moment. The mind keeps you engaged into the external reality, but you have to consciously direct your mind inward and spend some time each day to know your inner world. It's only by connecting and knowing the inner world; you reach to the truth of life. Your daily life is based on your perception and your perception depends on the memories of the mind. The path of consciousness takes you to the state of mind where you can experience life dropping all the individual perceptions of the mind. The life at the level of the mind keeps you limited to your own world, but with the consciousness, you experience life as a whole. The life with consciousness is living a reality. You come out of your mind and connect with the life that is happening here and now. Life is positive but only when you experience it, at the moment. All the pain, suffering and negativity are experienced by moving away from the moment. The time you consciously connect with the life of the moment, you start experiencing positivity of life. The experience of consciousness connects you with the higher intelligence. You connect with the knowing. Knowing which not knowledge, rather knowing is directly looking into life. With the knowing, you don't think and evaluate your life rather you directly see the truth of life. With the consciousness, you connect with the knowing. No information or knowledge. Simply knowing which is directly experiencing life.

Book Description
Unveiling Mercy will do just that—unveil how the mercy of God in the Messiah is spoken of from the very opening Hebrew word of the Bible, all the way to the closing chapter of Malachi. By the end of the year, you will have entered the Old Testament through 365 new doorways, looked with fresh eyes at old verses, and traced a web of connections all over the Scriptures that you've never spotted before. You'll begin to see what one person meant when he described Hebrew words as "hyphens between heaven and earth." Reading the Bible in translation can be like "kissing the bride through the veil." Each of these 365 devotions is crafted so as to lift that veil ever so slightly, to touch skin to skin, as it were, with the original language. You do not need to know anything about Hebrew to profit from these meditations. They are not written to teach you the language of Abraham, Moses, and Isaiah, but to give you a taste of their insights, to expose you to their eloquence, to laugh with them at their winking wordplays, to un-English their idioms, and—most importantly—to trace their trajectories all the way into the preaching of the Messiah and the writings of his evangelists and apostles.

Book Description
Legions of self-help authors rightly urge personal development as the key to happiness, but they typically fail to focus on its most important objective: hardiness. Though that which doesn't kill us can make us stronger, as Nietzsche tells us, few authors today offer any insight into just how to springboard from adversity to strength. It doesn't just happen automatically, and it takes practice. New scientific research suggests that resilience isn't something with which only a fortunate few of us have been born, but rather something we can all take specific action to develop. To build strength out of adversity, we need a catalyst. What we need, according to Dr. Alex Lickerman, is wisdom—wisdom that adversity has the potential to teach us. Lickerman's underlying premise is that our ability to control what happens to us in life may be limited, but we have the ability to establish a life-state to surmount the suffering life brings us. The Undefeated Mind distills the wisdom we need to create true resilience into nine core principles, including: --A new definition of victory and its relevance to happiness --The concept of the changing of poison into medicine --A way to view prayer as a vow we make to ourselves. --A method of setting expectations that enhances our ability to endure disappointment and minimizes the likelihood of quitting --An approach to taking personal responsibility and moral action that enhances resilience --A process to managing pain—both physical and emotional—that enables us to push through obstacles that might otherwise prevent us from attaining out goals --A method of leveraging our relationships with others that helps us manifest our strongest selves Through stories of patients who have used these principles to overcome suffering caused by unemployment, unwanted weight gain, addiction, rejection, chronic pain, retirement, illness, loss, and even death, Dr. Lickerman shows how we too can make these principles function within our own lives, enabling us to develop for ourselves the resilience we need to achieve indestructible happiness. At its core, The Undefeated Mind urges us to stop hoping for easy lives and focus instead on cultivating the inner strength we need to enjoy the difficult lives we all have.

Book Description
A gripping story of how an entire family, deeply enmeshed in Mormonism for thirty years, found their way out and found faith in Jesus Christ. For thirty years, Lynn Wilder, once a tenured faculty member at Brigham Young University, and her family lived in, loved, and promoted the Mormon Church. Then their son Micah, serving his Mormon mission in Florida, had a revelation: God knew him personally. God loved him. And the Mormon Church did not offer the true gospel. Micah's conversion to Christ put the family in a tailspin. They wondered, Have we believed the wrong thing for decades? If we leave Mormonism, what does this mean for our safety, jobs, and relationships? Is Christianity all that different from Mormonism anyway? As Lynn tells her story of abandoning the deception of Mormonism to receive God's grace, she gives a rare look into Mormon culture, what it means to grow up Mormon, and why the contrasts between Mormonism and Christianity make all the difference in the world. Whether you are in the Mormon Church, are curious about Mormonism, or simply are looking for a gripping story, Unveiling Grace will strengthen your faith in the true God who loves you no matter what.

Book Description
How can we rethink teaching practices to include and engage the whole student? What would student experience look like if we integrated silence and feeling with empirical analysis? Tuning the Student Mind is the story of one teacher's attempt to answer these questions by creating an innovative college course that marries the spiritual and the theoretical, integrating meditation and self-reflection with more conventional academic curriculum. The book follows Molly Beauregard and her students on their intellectual and spiritual journey over the course of a semester in her class, "Consciousness, Creativity, and Identity." Interweaving personal stories, student writing, and Beauregard's responses, along with recommendations for further reading and a research appendix, it makes the case for the transformative power of consciousness-centered education. Written in a warm, engaging voice that reflects Beauregard's teaching style, Tuning the Student Mind provides an accessible, step-by-step template for other educators, while inviting readers more broadly to reconnect with the joy of learning in and beyond the classroom.

Book Description
In Unveiling Traditions Anouar Majid issues a challenge to the West to reimagine Islam as a progressive world culture and a participant in the building of a multicultural and more egalitarian world civilization. From within the highly secularized space it inhabits, a space endemically suspicious of religion, the West must find a way, writes Majid, to embrace Islamic societies as partners in building a more inclusive and culturally diverse global community. Majid moves beyond Edward Said’s unmasking of orientalism in the West to examine the intellectual assumptions that have prevented a more nuanced understanding of Islam’s legacies. In addition to questioning the pervasive logic that assumes the “naturalness” of European social and political organizations, he argues that it is capitalism that has intensified cultural misunderstanding and created global tensions. Besides examining the resiliency of orientalism, the author critically examines the ideologies of nationalism and colonialist categories that have redefined the identity of Muslims (especially Arabs and Africans) in the modern age and totally remapped their cultural geographies. Majid is aware of the need for Muslims to rethink their own assumptions. Addressing the crisis in Arab-Muslim thought caused by a desire to simultaneously “catch up” with the West and also preserve Muslim cultural authenticity, he challenges Arab and Muslim intellectuals to imagine a post-capitalist, post-Eurocentric future. Critical of Islamic patriarchal practices and capitalist hegemony, Majid contends that Muslim feminists have come closest to theorizing a notion of emancipation that rescues Islam from patriarchal domination and resists Eurocentric prejudices. Majid’s timely appeal for a progressive, multicultural dialogue that would pave the way to a polycentric world will interest students and scholars of postcolonial, cultural, Islamic, and Marxist studies.
