Book Description
Consciousness Rising provides hope for the future of humankind. Thomas Capshew outlines a roadmap and vision of what our lives and world will be like when we become the Love we were created to be. Working from the premise that humans emanate from our common Creator, Capshew describes ways we have found value in each other that come up short. Over millennia, this practice has created and normalized a shared “dominator consciousness,” devaluing other humans to seek survival through wealth and power: power over. We have been living under this illusion, sapping our potential. Capshew defines the intelligence that created the universe as “Consciousness” and the energy used by Consciousness to conceive and maintain the seen world as “Love”. The author emphasizes that our Creator designs us with inherent value. Consciousness creates power with. Power with creates harmony with our Creator and with each other. When in harmony, our heart directs our life, aligning us with our inherent passion and purpose for living. Finally, Capshew illuminates ways to create a collective human consciousness that works for all people and our planet to provide conditions for life to thrive. Consciousness is rising. Consciousness has provided within us and around us the resources we need to become the Love we were created to be. As we clear the wounds of our individual and collective past, we cannot help but join Consciousness rising.

Book Description
Shinkei (1406-75), one of the most brilliant poets of medieval Japan, is a pivotal figure in the development of renga (linked poetry) as a serious art. In an age when anyone who wished to signal his denial of mundane concerns or make his way in the world with relative freedom donned the robes of a monk, Shinkei stood out by being a practicing cleric with a temple in Kyoto, the Japanese capital. His priestly duties and his devotion to Buddhist ideals are directly reflected in the intensely pure, lyrical longing for transcendence that is the most notable quality of his sensibility. Shinkei's life and work also provide a vivid portrayal of a tumultuous period of Japanese history that was one of the defining moments of its culture, when Zen Buddhism began to directly influence the arts. The book is in two parts. The first part is a literary biography based primarily on Shinkei's own writings - his critical essays, waka sequences, hokku collections, and commentaries - supplemented by various external sources. What emerges is the compelling portrait of a man who bore witness to the tragic anarchy of his times while clinging to the ideal of poetic practice as a mode of being and access to Buddhist enlightenment. Shinkei became embroiled in the factional struggles preceding the Onin War (1467-77) and died a refugee in what is now Kanagawa. The second part consists of annotated translations of Shinkei's most representative poetry: (1) selected hokku (opening verse of a sequence) and tsukeku (linked pairs of verses), along with Muromachi-period commentaries on them; (2) two 100-verse renga sequences - the first a solo composition from 1467, and the second a collaboration with Sogi and other poet-priests and samurai from 1468; and (3) a selection of one hundred waka poems highlighting Shinkei's most characteristic mode of ineffable remoteness. Throughout, the author's annotations seek to define and clarify the unique genre called "linked poetry."

Artist and priest Ruth Pattison looks to the legacy of Celtic spirituality to say God is in all of creation that surrounds us—earth, fire, water, air—and not up in the clouds. She invites the reader into a grounded spirituality rooted deep in Celtic tradition that sees everything as infused with the Spirit—including humanity. The material will deepen the experience of worship with creative hands-on spiritual practices for the context of liturgy. It can also be used for creating the structure and substance of retreats, spiritual formation classes, and for helping parents who want to learn to pray with children.

Book Description
H.P. Blavatsky’s The Secret Doctrine is the foundational text for the dissemination of the esoteric tradition, as promulgated by the Masters of Wisdom for this new epoch. The Theosophical Society, the writings of Alice Bailey, Helena Roerich and other esotericists, are founded upon the basis of the advanced esoteric doctrines promulgated in that text. Here, for the first time, a proper exposition of the mode of the coding of the esoteric texts presented by the Masters is revealed. The object being to assist serious students of the esoteric doctrines to gain much deeper insights as to the nature of the hidden wisdom of the revelatory writings emanating from the Hierarchy of enlightened beings. This book consequently presupposes that the reader is familiar with the context of the writings of the above authors, and also my writings, because of the nature of the advanced esotericism that needs to be explicated. The focus of this analysis is upon the Stanzas of Dzyan (stanzas for meditation), the backbone of The Secret Doctrine. Those that take the time to properly study the texts will comprehend the vastness of the philosophy and awareness attained by enlightened beings, and so hopefully aspire to likewise gain enlightenment.

Book Description
Two loves, two lives. One heart shattered. Can a love from another time heal the pain of the present? Layla Angell’s life is perfectly on track. Winning her dream position as a busy Auckland emergency room doctor also lets her reconnect with her found family, the group of friends who’ve been there through her struggle. But it also thrusts the person she’s always loved as more than a friend back into her life—and she must once again confront the knowledge: he doesn’t see her in that way. William Leroux is following the path expected by his formidable family. Not that it’s a problem—after all, hasn’t becoming a neurosurgeon always been his goal too? But when life throws him a curve ball, his priorities must change. Not only is his career under threat, time might be running out for him. He put aside his feelings for Layla in pursuit of that career. Has he now left it too late? Finn McGill was born to be the spare, not the heir, although he’s the only one stepping up to rescue his Scottish noble family and their crumbling castle home from ruin. Turning his passion for music into a plan that might save both offers hope. But he never expected it could also deliver love back into his life. Not when he’s still damaged from the last time he fell so hard. But Layla is the sort of woman worth risking his fragile heart for, if he can bring himself to trust his instincts. Caught in a time-twisted love triangle, Layla’s connection to two men, across two parallel lives, offers a second chance at happiness beyond tragedy—if she can learn to accept the impossible. Tangled Hearts is time travel romance with a twist. If you were obsessed by Outlander’s time-crossed lovers or intrigued by the premise of parallel lives in Maybe In Another Life, then you’ll love this story, the third in the Tangled in Time series. It can also be read as a satisfying standalone. This is a new adult, dual point of view romance novel, in an international setting, with elements of found family, friends to lovers, and the enduring power of female friendships.
