La représentation des propriétés thermodynamiques des corps purs est une étape fondamentale. Les procédés industriels nécessitent une bonne représentation des propriétés thermodynamiques sur un vaste domaine de pressions et de températures. L'équation d'état est alors l'outil indispensable. Or les équations d'état dépendent de paramètres. Ces paramètres peuvent être estimés par l'ajustement sur les données expérimentales, par l'utilisation des spécifications critiques, ou bien, en absence de toute donnée expérimentale, par contribution de groupes. Nous avons étudié l'équation d'état de Sanchez-Lacombe. Cette équation d'état dérive du modèle réticulaire. Elle permet de représenter les propriétés thermodynamiques des corps purs de masses molaires diverses: des molécules dites "légères" aux polymères. Nous avons mené cette étude sur des hydrocarbures de taille intermédiaire. Nous avons mis au point des méthodes par contribution de groupes qui permettent l'estimation des paramètres de l'équation d'état de Sanchez-Lacombe pour ce type de molécules. Ainsi, nous avons prédit de façon satisfaisante les pressions de vapeur, les volumes liquides à saturation et les enthalpies de vaporisation. Nous avons étendu notre méthode par contribution de groupes à la famille des alcools.
