También se enseña a realizar simulaciones y a visualizar los efectos de la variación de los parámetros de operación: con ello se adquiere una mejor comprensión tanto de esos conceptos teóricos como de los procesos. Los problemas y ejercicios presentados se resuelven con Matlab, desarrollando paso a paso las soluciones y simulaciones, con explicaciones muy detalladas sobre la función de cada uno de los comandos.
