He married Belinda Foster, daughter of Judge Luke and Esther Hubbell Foster, at Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1819. They migrated to Edgar County, Illinois, shortly after their marriage, and settled near Vermillion Station. They had nine children, 1820-1835. He died in 1858 in Edgar County, Illinois. Descendants lived in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and elsewhere.
