Book Description
There are no more barriers! Yesterday you travelled to 600,000,000ad and solved a bizarre murder mystery. Today you watch, amazed, as the merchants of Gomorrah trade in vice and corruption. Tomorrow you will stalk the war-torn streets of Berlin in search of Adolph Hitler. You are a time traveller, and there are no more barriers.Timeship is an innovative and imaginative roleplaying game that allows players to adventure in strange eras and places as themselves, not as fictional characters who have been created by a few dice rolls. An elegantly simple system starts players at average ability levels, then allows each player to evaluate him or herself by improving some and reducing others. The result is each player creates a gaming character that mirrors both their positive and negative abilities, based on their own judgment. Timeship also introduces the concept of Player Power. Each player has a certain amount of Personal Power that is reduced through the performance of various activities and damage during the course of the adventure. For instance; a player could take a hand gun into a twentieth century adventure at minimal Power cost, should that same gun be taken on an excursion into the 10th Century, the Power cost would be enormous. Another aspect of Personal Power concerns Group Energy, the element that activates the portals, or gateways, allowing players to move in and out of time itself.

Book Description
Excerpt from The Wonder-Ship Betty looked across at J o to see whether he believed that. J o and Betty were sitting on the stone wall when the bear-boy came along the road, and their hearts had beat fast when he stopped and spoke to them. When they first saw him coming over the top of the hill they knew him, and they had hoped, for one exciting moment, that he had the bear with him, as he had on the day when he passed through Bunchberry Corner. Still, it was very delightful and wonderful even to have him come along on their road, and to have him stop to speak to them, and to look at him. Book Description
Excerpt from When My Ship Comes In The room resembled a chapel. There was an organ built into one wall. There was a rose window, an altar, lilies, a smell of incense. The room didn't resemble a chapel. There was a large rosewood table with a desk telephone. There was a cheval-glass. There was a divan. There was a suit of armor. There was a woman in a sort of coarse nightgown, a rope round the waist, who grovelled, sobbing, in the middle of the floor. There was a smell of cigar smoke. Up and down the room there paced a man of forty; he dragged his left foot slightly and kept combing a thicket of unnaturally black hair straight up with the long, white fingers of his left hand. He appeared to be lashed into a sort of fury. He kept shouting: "She won't do! She won't do! She won't do!" Book Description
Excerpt from A Jolly Fellowship Was sitting on the deck Of a Savannah steam-ship, which was lying at a dock in the East River, New York. I was waiting for young Rectus, and had already waited some time; which surprised me, because Rectus was, as a general thing, a very prompt fellow, who seldom kept people waiting. But it was probably impossible for him to regulate his own movements this time, for his father and mother were coming with him, to see him Off. I had no one there to see me off, but I did not care for that. I was Sixteen years Old, and felt quite like a man; whereas Rectus was only fourteen, and could n't possibly feel like a man - unless his looks very much belied his feelings. My father and mother and sister lived in a small town some thirty miles from New York, and that was a very good reason for their not coming to the city just to see me sail away in a steam-ship.
