Book Description
It is impossible for a man to learn, what he thinks he already knows! Most Americans believe that the U.S government is protecting privacy rights and private property. The sad truth is, through the Act of 1871, the ten square miles known as the “business” District of Columbia, “the corporation” aka - THE UNITED STATES, was created, and is still defrauding sovereign Citizens, under its pseudo authority. Further, on June 5th, 1933 a third term Roosevelt administration and an obedient Congress, “fundamentally” changed our government, by “Resolution”! Through HJR 192-The New Deal, our “Public Servants” abandoned their duty to the supreme office holder, the sovereign Citizen. And instead, initiated (their)“Public Policy”! That Roosevelt administration, took advantage of its’ pseudo authority and effectively duped the masses, by resolution, then, enacted the treasonous provisions of the “New Deal”! And, all provisions of that New Deal “resolution” are in force and effect, as evidenced by your Socialist number attached to “YOUR NAME”, aka your (corporate identity).Yet few Americans are actually aware of, that grand deception. We the People, were dealt a foreign judicial system, which overturned the original“chain of command”, and now, unlawfully prosecutes all “Public Policy” violations. Liberty, precious, God given liberty, cannot be infringed upon, simply because “our” representatives, have chosen to allow their agents to violate privacy rights and misapply commercial codes, above the inherent rights of the sovereign People. In this country, one is considered to be a criminal, if one is cited, not wearing a seat belt. And, if you fail to pay the agency, “claiming criminal behavior”, they will arrest you! Even though, there is no victim, no verified complaint, no indictment, no felonious act, and no exigent circumstances existed, to condone your abduction. Are you proud of the fact that this government can and will take your neighbors’ home, or your home, for taxes that neither, lawfully owe? Are you proud that our young men and women are dying and killing, in a foreign land, for no valid reason? Are you proud of “YOUR”- CORPORATE IDENTITY and all liabilities, contingencies and conditions associated with “YOUR” matriculated, socialist, indebted status? Are you proud of the fact that two men, Clarence Thomas and Anthony Scalia chose to ignore the national vote total, and “chose” instead, a Republican Candidate, over, and against the will and mandate of the People, in the 2000 selection? Eternally, A Brother in Christ Quey Quay Eddie Duncan

How Much Have Global Problems Cost the World?
Author: Bjørn Lomborg
Publisher: Cambridge University Press
ISBN: 1107292433
Category : Business & Economics
Languages : en
Pages : 403
Book Description
There are often blanket claims that the world is facing more problems than ever but there is a lack of empirical data to show where things have deteriorated or in fact improved. In this book, some of the world's leading economists discuss ten problems that have blighted human development, ranging from malnutrition, education, and climate change, to trade barriers and armed conflicts. Costs of the problems are quantified in percent of GDP, giving readers a unique opportunity to understand the development of each problem over the past century and the likely development into the middle of this century, and to compare the size of the challenges. For example: how bad was air pollution in 1900? How has it deteriorated and what about the future? Did climate change cost more than malnutrition in 2010? This pioneering initiative to provide answers to many of these questions will undoubtedly spark debate amongst a wide readership.

The Uninhabitable Earth
Author: David Wallace-Wells
Publisher: Crown
ISBN: 052557672X
Category : Science
Languages : en
Pages : 386
Book Description
#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • “The Uninhabitable Earth hits you like a comet, with an overflow of insanely lyrical prose about our pending Armageddon.”—Andrew Solomon, author of The Noonday Demon NAMED ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS OF THE YEAR BY The New Yorker • The New York Times Book Review • Time • NPR • The Economist • The Paris Review • Toronto Star • GQ • The Times Literary Supplement • The New York Public Library • Kirkus Reviews It is worse, much worse, than you think. If your anxiety about global warming is dominated by fears of sea-level rise, you are barely scratching the surface of what terrors are possible—food shortages, refugee emergencies, climate wars and economic devastation. An “epoch-defining book” (The Guardian) and “this generation’s Silent Spring” (The Washington Post), The Uninhabitable Earth is both a travelogue of the near future and a meditation on how that future will look to those living through it—the ways that warming promises to transform global politics, the meaning of technology and nature in the modern world, the sustainability of capitalism and the trajectory of human progress. The Uninhabitable Earth is also an impassioned call to action. For just as the world was brought to the brink of catastrophe within the span of a lifetime, the responsibility to avoid it now belongs to a single generation—today’s. LONGLISTED FOR THE PEN/E.O. WILSON LITERARY SCIENCE WRITING AWARD “The Uninhabitable Earth is the most terrifying book I have ever read. Its subject is climate change, and its method is scientific, but its mode is Old Testament. The book is a meticulously documented, white-knuckled tour through the cascading catastrophes that will soon engulf our warming planet.”—Farhad Manjoo, The New York Times “Riveting. . . . Some readers will find Mr. Wallace-Wells’s outline of possible futures alarmist. He is indeed alarmed. You should be, too.”—The Economist “Potent and evocative. . . . Wallace-Wells has resolved to offer something other than the standard narrative of climate change. . . . He avoids the ‘eerily banal language of climatology’ in favor of lush, rolling prose.”—Jennifer Szalai, The New York Times “The book has potential to be this generation’s Silent Spring.”—The Washington Post “The Uninhabitable Earth, which has become a best seller, taps into the underlying emotion of the day: fear. . . . I encourage people to read this book.”—Alan Weisman, The New York Review of Books

The Rational Optimist
Author: Matt Ridley
Publisher: Harper Collins
ISBN: 0061452068
Category : Business & Economics
Languages : en
Pages : 482
Book Description
For two hundred years the pessimists have dominated public discourse, insisting that things will soon be getting much worse. But in fact, life is getting better—and at an accelerating rate. Food availability, income, and life span are up; disease, child mortality, and violence are down all across the globe. Africa is following Asia out of poverty; the Internet, the mobile phone, and container shipping are enriching people's lives as never before. In his bold and bracing exploration into how human culture evolves positively through exchange and specialization, bestselling author Matt Ridley does more than describe how things are getting better. He explains why. An astute, refreshing, and revelatory work that covers the entire sweep of human history—from the Stone Age to the Internet—The Rational Optimist will change your way of thinking about the world for the better.

Why I Write
Author: George Orwell
Publisher: Renard Press Ltd
ISBN: 1913724263
Category : Literary Collections
Languages : en
Pages : 15
Book Description
George Orwell set out ‘to make political writing into an art’, and to a wide extent this aim shaped the future of English literature – his descriptions of authoritarian regimes helped to form a new vocabulary that is fundamental to understanding totalitarianism. While 1984 and Animal Farm are amongst the most popular classic novels in the English language, this new series of Orwell’s essays seeks to bring a wider selection of his writing on politics and literature to a new readership. In Why I Write, the first in the Orwell’s Essays series, Orwell describes his journey to becoming a writer, and his movement from writing poems to short stories to the essays, fiction and non-fiction we remember him for. He also discusses what he sees as the ‘four great motives for writing’ – ‘sheer egoism’, ‘aesthetic enthusiasm’, ‘historical impulse’ and ‘political purpose’ – and considers the importance of keeping these in balance. Why I Write is a unique opportunity to look into Orwell’s mind, and it grants the reader an entirely different vantage point from which to consider the rest of the great writer’s oeuvre. 'A writer who can – and must – be rediscovered with every age.' — Irish Times

Publisher: Verity Publishing

Category : Law
Languages : en

Book Description

Under this judicial system there are only about a hundred statutes required to govern a community, a state, a nation or the world if these guidelines are in the hands of wise and virtuous judges. Learn which political ideas are in tune with God’s law so you can support them. Understand why political ideas contrary to God’s law simply don’t work. Pages : 439
Book Description
The Lodge is the story of Matthew, a young freshman high schooler who had begun to question the purpose of his existence. In the privacy and tranquility of his favorite spot by the little brook in the woods behind his home, he often sat and pondered his future. More and more, he found himself wondering what it was that he was supposed to do with his life. Then late one night, a few days before Christmas, a stranger appeared to him and offered to take him on a journey that would help him find the answers to his questions. With some reluctance, Mathew accepted his offer, and together, they traveled to a lodge in a cold snow-covered northern region where Matthew spent time with some of the wisest individuals whom he had ever met. Each of the individuals whom he met helped him to take a closer look not only at his doubts and fears but also at his abilities as well. It is a journey that everyone should take.
