Book Description
"The Silence of the Shepherds: The Evidence and the the Remedy" (4th Edition) is 2-part work expositioning the greatest contributing factor to the current global moral crisis, namely the centuries-long failure of the Roman/American clergy to counsel the laity to daily access and study the vernacular Scriptures of the Bible. This failure has been the parent of all scandals, preventing the laity from becoming the leaven, light and salt-of-the-earth influences they were meant to be, another consequence of which being that many of them remain indistinguishable from the worldly wicked. Through the countless impacts of The Silence of the Shepherds, i.e. the consequences of many men subjecting their otherwise sacred role as clergy to the devil's lie, there was nurtured a culture of dearth: This centuries-long famine consists of many lacks, voids, absences and hungers amid the laity, resulting in a comparatively universal dearth of Christian influence in the world and the longstanding, virtually total lack of discipleship initiative whereby to exercise our creation stewardship rights and the authority implicit thereto, all of which has culminated in the "culture of death." Owing to this lack of the vision of God's Word among the majority of Catholics the laity failed to become and serve as the gatekeepers of culture: We failed to be the Christian "leaven, light and salt" influence on the global scale which we could, should and would have been had the clergy counseled us to daily access, study and live by God's Word. Consequently we failed to influentially serve as the social moral conscience among men in general, leaving the door of moral restraint wide open, and which fostered the culture of death. This would likely not have occurred had the laity realized a Scripture-motivated initiative whereby to employ the social means of mass communication (radio, film and television) for all it was evangelistically worth during the early decades of the 20th Century. But for lack of the vision of God's Word we failed to employ such means to counter the now lawless content of the secular media, the consequence being the loss of moral restraint among untold numbers of people. The long-standing failure of the clergy to make God's Word known and lived on the scale that was possible and necessary has proven to be the primary cause of the global moral catastrophe at hand. This book not only expositions the evidence of such negligence but provides also a remedy in the way of a new paradigm by which to renew Christendom via the archetypal criteria of Exodus 19:6, namely "and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests," by which terms Jehovah-God addressed ALL of the Israelites who foreshadowed ALL members of Christ's Church on earth today. The Christianican Media Monarchy, initiated via The Formatrix Criterion Paradigm and expressed through God's tactical strategy of evangelart, is expositioned as a means whereby a culture founded upon Scriptural literacy and obedience thereto can be fostered and nurtured as a "remedy" for or at least serve as a feasible means of response to the many globally damaging impacts of The Silence of the Shepherds: Again, through the cultivation of a Church-wide media (that is, the MediaLaity) awareness comprised of God's prophesied "kingdom of priests" there can be a universal renewal of faith among both the laity and clergy, who are to be respectively known as the "Priestly kings" and the "kingly Priests" who will comprise the Christianican Media Monarchy: Our "rulership" as such - motivated by faith, hope and charity - consists of our service to God and the eternally common good of all. (For we are each intended to serve as communicators of the Gospel and Kingdom of Christ.) As a remedy for the dearth of many things, this Monarchy will facilitate and nourish an abundance of truly Christianican Catholics (and other Scripturally literate Christians) who will be very distinctive disciples and subjects of Christ o

Book Description
“If I could, I would put this book into the hands of every Christian in America.” —Dr. David Jeremiah “Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9). Each day, you watch America turn further from Christian values and the core principles of liberty. It’s frustrating to feel you can’t assert biblical truth without facing condemnation, and fearful to witness outrage and victimhood replace respect and reason. Amidst this dissent, how can you not only stay rooted in your own faith, but continue publicly testifying for Jesus? In We Will Not Be Silenced, Dr. Erwin W. Lutzer prepares you to live out your convictions against a growing tide of hostility. Gain a better understanding of nonbelievers’ legitimate hurts and concerns regarding issues like racism, sexism, and poverty—and identify the toxic responses secular culture disguises as solutions. In the process, you’ll see how you can show compassion and gentleness to those outside of the faith without affirming their beliefs. We Will Not Be Silenced will ready you to move beyond fear and boldly accept the challenge of representing Christ to a watching world that needs Him now more than ever before.

Book Description
A meditation on the meaning of Good Friday and the value of silence. Good Friday is not like any other time of the year, and Christians everywhere wonder about the best way to mark the day. Again and again, sermons and meditations have centered our attention on the words Jesus spoke from the cross, but those few, brief words would have needed only a few minutes on the first Good Friday. Seven chapters in this unique book consider the event, and the meaning, of the Crucifixion to our lives today, including the various ways in which silence plays a role in our daily lives. So many of us are overwhelmed with words coming at us from all our electronic devices that the thought of more language has less appeal than it once did. On one of the holiest days of the year, these brief meditations are designed to call us into the silence that still speaks more loudly than words.
