He married Mathilda Marie Anderson in 1858 and they had six children. After he died, his wodow married Adolph Mathander and they immigrated to the United States. This is my story on the Jacobson and Peterson families over many years starting in Ekeby, Sweden ending in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. I want my current and future Swedish relatives to know family history before there are no relatives that know the past family history. I hope this document will be better than files of papers, documents and pictures. Both the Jacobson and Peterson families came to the United States in 1884 from Ekeby, Sweden and settled in Wisconsin. My grand-parents and great-grand-parents arrived in the United States in 1884 with Wisconsin as their goal. They settled in Kaukauna where they lived all their lives and where many Jacobsons and Petersons were born and resided.
