Explore the new concept of "geochauvinism" and the role it plays in your life. Have you experienced the gripping fear of an angry violent mob or have you experienced the miracle of help, in time of need, from a complete stranger? Read the topic, "Group Mentality with Rapid Generalization" and review the broad range of effects this attitude has on your daily life. Who knows? When it comes to belief systems, the question of who is right pales in comparison to the horror of how people will treat each other over the unknown answer. When you consider the small percentage of individuals who have entrapped the entire planet in an endless cycle of violence, this represents an extra-ordinary reality. Read the topic called "Rotten Apples". The need to be right and in charge is a male feature of epic proportion. Is murder in the name of ideology, property, and power ruining a perfectly good planet Was the blaming of women for the fall of mankind one of the greatest tragedies of history? This topic is covered in detail in. "Reverse Eden". Remember that women and children represent the majority of people on Earth. Can we agree? What is the most fundamental concept on which most people would agree? The universe is watching us at a great distance. What will human beings become in the next five thousand years? The universe has all the time in the world...literally.

Book Description
Every few thousand years, our human culture experiences a massive evolutionary transformation. In the next few years, our consciousness will change very rapidly and move us beyond anything we can presently imagine. This change of consciousness is happening naturally to each of us now, and it will affect every aspect of how we think, how we live, and how we love. We are a culture in search of its spirit, and this change of consciousness is evolutionarily next for humankind on this planet. When the awareness opens, one may search many avenues and attractions for truth and enlightenment and find the search lacking in result. The next step may be the path of Self-discovery. But the direction on this path will not be given to us by a great teacher who comes down from the mountaintop with answers cast in stone, but rather by lots of little great teachers who could be called pathfinders. And to move into this new consciousness, we will transform the mind and the way it works with new mental skills and mental technology. Our success is inevitable. The ease or difficulty with which we achieve this success is still in formation. We will survive the transition physically. The question is whether we will survive psychologically. Psychological survival in this transition depends on only one thing: Developing the ability and inner discipline to completely, instantaneously, unquestioningly and continuously adapt to change.

Book Description
This book is dedicated to the nascent discussion of the legal aspects of human exploration and possible settlement of Mars, and provides fresh insights and new ideas in two key areas. The first one revolves around the broader aspects of current space law, such as intellectual property rights in outer space, the legal implications of contact with extra-terrestrial intelligence, legal considerations around the freedom of exploration and use, and the International Space Station agreement as a precedent for Mars. The second one focuses on the creation and management of a new society on Mars, and includes topics such as human reproduction and childbirth, the protection of human rights in privately-funded settlements, legal aspects of a Martian power grid, and criminal justice on the red planet. With multiple national space agencies and commercial enterprises focusing on Mars, it is more than likely that a human presence will be established on the red planet in the coming decades. While the foundation of international space law, laid primarily by the Outer Space Treaty, remains the framework within which humans will engage with Mars, new and unforeseen challenges have arisen, driven particularly by the rapid pace of technological advancement in recent years. To ensure that space law can keep up with these developments, a new scholarly work such as the present one is critical. By bringing together a number of fresh international perspectives on the topic, the book is of interest to all scholars and professionals working in the space field.

Book Description
Preferential trade agreements have become common ways to protect or restrict access to national markets in products and services. The United States has signed trade agreements with almost two dozen countries as close as Mexico and Canada and as distant as Morocco and Australia. The European Union has done the same. In addition to addressing economic issues, these agreements also regulate the protection of human rights. In Forced to Be Good, Emilie M. Hafner-Burton tells the story of the politics of such agreements and of the ways in which governments pursue market integration policies that advance their own political interests, including human rights. How and why do global norms for social justice become international regulations linked to seemingly unrelated issues, such as trade? Hafner-Burton finds that the process has been unconventional. Efforts by human rights advocates and labor unions to spread human rights ideals, for example, do not explain why American and European governments employ preferential trade agreements to protect human rights. Instead, most of the regulations protecting human rights are codified in global moral principles and laws only because they serve policymakers' interests in accumulating power or resources or solving other problems. Otherwise, demands by moral advocates are tossed aside. And, as Hafner-Burton shows, even the inclusion of human rights protections in trade agreements is no guarantee of real change, because many of the governments that sign on to fair trade regulations oppose such protections and do not intend to force their implementation.Ultimately, Hafner-Burton finds that, despite the difficulty of enforcing good regulations and the less-than-noble motives for including them, trade agreements that include human rights provisions have made a positive difference in the lives of some of the people they are intended-on paper, at least-to protect.
